mostly boredome i had to play scout with no epuipment/perks coz things started getting boring. go in kill leave one alive let him reinforce wipe repeat. using that scout build i had to try every match and it was fun

Fireteam doesnt deseve honor from a Predator with the current meta.

I’ve had a few matches where the last FT has pulled out his knife and is obviously wanting a one-on-one.
Now, if this is before there’s been a reinforcement (so in this scenario I’m fairly confident the team isn’t that good as I’ve already taken 3 out and am right next to the last guy) I will go on mic and tell him to reinforce - it’s stupid of him to try and take me on without trying to reinforce, and not fair on his teammates*.
If it’s a case of I’ve already wiped the team out twice and there’s no one else coming, then yes, I will engage in a one-on-one… but with one proviso: I’m not using wrist blades - I’m using my Elder sword. We all know that the FT knife is super powerful and inflicts great damage on Preds, so I’m going to use a like-for-like weapon, as to my mind wrist blades are fairly useless in a battle where the guy can see you and is expecting you to come at him.

That’s like asking ft not to use field medics. My opinion, in public matches everything goes. It’s kill or be killed by all means. I never ask for special favors and I never get mad when I get killed. At the same time, ain’t nobody gonna tell me how to play the game unless we are playing privates and we set our own rules. Other than that, everything goes.

Sadly in a broken game with a shit ton of bugs and balance more fucked up that the suicide squad movie, honor is a way to die quicker as predator or as Ft so fuck honor until they make the right and correct the game

it isn’t about winning or losing, I specified a very specific scenario and y’all manage to bring all sorts of varied scenarios when I only asked about ONE specific thing
Maybe I’m evil but if I take down the last guy and I see him start to use a self revive syringe, I’ll let him revive just to stand up and put my katana through him one last time.

If i’m already low HP and they’re trying to knife fight then they’re getting blasted. Knife has shotgun damage and is functionally a melee riot shield and you can just mash heavies for braindead parry frames. Otherwise ill humor it and sprint around the parry shield to stab them in the back because pred has no melee mechanics anyways.

I’d entertain it useally, but my playstyle doesn’t useally let me get to that situation.
I really think the honor code of yautja isn’t something we can’t live by. What IS REQUIRED is a true WARNING notification and monitoring of these things, what we do in game and what provides this honor should be indicated and if we don’t abide, may there be some kind of cool off period where our Match Making is more sided with us losing each game as predator.
Otherwise,its really hard to have that kind of self-control with no reward (in a game that is).
Like i Street Fighter, nobody tells us how many upper cuts to do, or how many foot sweeps that is considered CHEEZE tactics. We will just do them! Luckly SF doesnt have a CHEEZE monitor. But this is branded differently in this game. PRedator is about honour. Both is like the same shit really.
So unless this stuff we do is monitored and notified in realtime in-game, then we will likely never give a shit!
Its the mass effect thing where, you know, be too negative and you go into the renagade and do too much positive stuff your meter goes into the paragon side.

Furthermore, you said mostly. Mostly is not something you can say “more than once” because mostly is showing a trend, not proving its not an outlier. Unless you’re talking about your opinion being repeated more than once, thus making it fact. I bet more than one person says the earth is flat. I bet more than one person says the earth is an oblong spheroid. Both have more than one, so both are facts.
And to wrap this up, its all anecdotal. In my experience, its mostly even FT and Preds having no honor. However, its like 95-5 PC-PS4 for honorless players.

Unless you do some sort of honor code matchmaking. Preds following the honor code are put against FT who play the mission, and the casuals and noobs get grouped together, and the honorless preds can get matched with the honorless FT. Like a skill based matchmaking.

One simple step would be to
Allow 2 or more FT members to survive past a re-inforcement period. After that period every one is a up for the kill.
With those FT members who 'CHase" even before a certain percentage of the mission, would be match made with Potatoes or after losing too many “Mission Critical” moments they will be forced to loose their V or get match made with even more potatoes. They might be forced to play parties or privates.
Currently the match making still is in align with a fair share of potatoes and death squads, it just hasnt been put against these ‘parameters’.
That still leaves a “You’re forcing me to play a certain way” thing people will complain about.
