Hot Take on "Story Mode"

“I may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.”

Question… what if one human is threatening another human and the only way to save the threatened human is through harming the one doing the threatening?

In my opinion offline is needed for every game, cause people tend to forget that games die, and of you don’t have friends playing the game and no one else isnt playing guess what your not playing the game, but atleast with offline/story mode you can still play the game you love. Fir example not sure if you have ever heard or played the game deathgarden but it’s an online only game and it died, no one played it buy I know people who loved that game and because games like that cater to their playerbase they cut the servers and now they cant play the game cause it doesnt have offline

Yet every game doesn’t have offline so there you go. Stopped reading there.

Ok, your point?

Stop buying dead on arrival DBD clones for double the price of DBD and you won’t get steam-scammed when development falls through on an early access indie title with no publisher & it gets removed from the store lol.

Steam 101.
Offline would’ve just nuked that game’s playerbase faster than the post-free weekend player count drop since development was already at a crawl.

Thought you said you stopped reading? So why are you continuing to comment about a post you “didnt read”

You asked me what my point was so I had to help you since you “couldn’t” read, naturally.

Lol I love comments that yours they make me laugh, you say dont buy DBD clones, every game is a clone of another game, and it wasnt an indie developer it was from the same team as DBD. But isn’t that the same situation with this game, people complaining about bugs, maps and all that from the devs of F13 to date still one of the biggest games, and why was anyone expecting anything different here?

Better question is, why are you here if you don’t expect anything different?

Steam Early Access is a matter of whether or not you think devs can deliver on promises because they can pull their vaporware off the steam store and literally run with the money. PH:G has Sony backing it however keeping them on a deadline so the monthly content quota is met.

Great I love it when people don’t know how to determine when a early access title is a flop & you’re part of the reason there’s 100 DOA survival crafting games on the market right now because “all games are clones of eachother.”

This game is a complete rip off of pong.

One side takes shots at the other and has to react. There’s even a scoreboard. 0 originality these days!

If saying that we need to focus on the multiplayer aspects of a multiplayer game is gatekeeping, then I see nothing wrong with gatekeeping.

Because you’d get half a slice of pizza and half a burger

still more then half a slice of pizza

Heres the thing. In order to to make a story mode, they would have to take away devolopment from PHG, meaning that either they take so much effort away from the game, that it kills it. Or they don’t put enough resources into it that it would of been a waste of time. Or they take so long to do it that you might as well had hired a diffrent company to make the game.

(Plus my analogy was either a whole piece of pizza or a half pizza and half a hamburger)

or get done with the bug fixing then work on the story mode only and rush that then work on the other game modes. now i know you dont like that idea but

No. Either the story mode would be so trash that it’d be a waste of time and would push people away, or the story mode would take so long that the game would die and no one would play anyways.
