Battling to the death is a bit excessive and unnecessary. I’m sure that there is a law in some places called the mutual combat law where two people can both agree to fight each other, and they will be free from any legal repercussions. This law doesn’t allow you to kill the other person though.
There are so many situations where calling the police would be unnecessary. Instead, you can just let the two people that have a problem just fight it out. No police, no criminal charges being pressed, no bullshit.
Ya but it’s consentual so why not. They’re fault if they die.
There’s other factors that you need to consider. In the heat of the moment, two people may be angry enough to want to kill each other but that anger would’ve disappeared had they waited a while.
Not to mention the type of psychological effects that killing someone can have on a person. Having a regular fight without killing the other person is good enough to resolve any kind of beef.

Nope! Two consenting adults who have filled all paper work and going through the proper chain! Should have the full right to fight to the death! And meh killing someone doesn’t have that much effect on a human if our history has anything to say about it! Humans history is wrote with the blood of countless souls

If your that angry that your willing to kill some one but don’t really mean it, you need help.

If something like this were implemented in real life, it would have all kinds of effects on society. Also, I doubt that anyone would sign up for this if this was real.

I wonder if people who have not killed anyone are more/less likely to kill someone than a person who is a killer. It could start as concent, but eventually the killers might spiral down into a life of crime and murder. Wouldnt be good for society.
I think when i was reading the musketeers books by Hugo it said that they would engage in duels, probably over bs, but duels were still outlawed.

So if someone really is feeling the itch to kill they could just go find some one to challenge.
Either duels are rare so not many will get a craving, or lots of people will duel giving the pscyos something to do legally.
