That is a scrip and you’re moving into bots. We don’t use anything of that type. Macros we use just make pressing F once and it does like 5 of F or we press macro 1 and does RGBP but does not make the game walk for us or even que into anything. I don’t think the game even accepts that many commands with 1 button press.

there are many advantages on PC over console. But macros are far from being one given the fact that turbo controllers exist for consoles.
The main disadvantage between console and PC is the precision aiming of the mouse compared to a controller (you know, I also own consoles and play with a controller). For that a lot of games implement aim assist to even out the field and in much cases it does.
Sadly, this game aim assist is trash
so queue into solo private matches to farm V, level up guns and xp is cheating too?

Its 3 automated button presses. Afk grind macros are hardly advanced enough to be considered bots, no more advanced than rubberbanding your control sticks together in For Honor but yes thats obviously not intended by the devs. If I just bind my macro to walking or the sprint button is it cheating yet? What dictates the cherry picking?

After you select an option it pretty much asks you to hit some buttons. Trust me, this game does not allow you to imput lots of commands into 1 click.

I wouldn’t say cheaters… It’s more of knowing that there is an imbalance in not only m+k (I mean good controller players exist) but we can even break down framerate and the level of graphics card changes the time to notice things in a fraction of a second. (Google GeForce powered rainbow six fps and they do an amazing break down of 60-200+ and this video doesn’t even show what that would look like on a ps4)Sorry I cant post links.
This isn’t even getting into macros of shooting that fast while still being able to aim and walk rather than shooting that fast and standing still… There is a massive advantage there.
Yes the fps is a minor bonus but Jesus the game runs at like 27 on ps4 lmfao

AFK grind is a BOT, not a macro man. Sprinting is holding shift and directional key on PC, what does it matter?
no, that’s cheating, you are supposed to sit there for 8 hours opening crates to get those mythical trophies

Dude, to AFK grind you need to move around, detect enemies, attack and loot (depending on the game). Seriously, what are you talking about?
Don’t put words in my mouth to make an argument of your own, yes, this is why I turn off crossplay because PC has an unfair advantage. I don’t want easy games, I want balanced games. You can’t balance a fps between console and PC. It’s common sense that not only can they adjust things console cannot, but they have the advantage of a mouse and keyboard over a controller. Thats not what I want to deal with.

If you want balance games, you’re going to have far more of those with PC players involved. Having 2 PC players and 2 PS players its probably an excellent balance for most predators. 4 PS players are not because so many of them are potatoes ending up with predators just faceroll that team with nothing but melee.

Yeah… thats putting words in my mouth bro. You get settings and possibilities I don’t. You get to change things I don’t. If it weren’t intentionally crossplay, it’d otherwise be cheating but since it is what it is, it’s just an unfair advantage I don’t want to deal with in this game. Love to see how that macro works for the 2xl and snipers. Must be fun not having to actually play the game lol
they do not work with any other weapon in the game because those weapons are hard coded to have a limited fire rate. You can’t shoot faster than the weapon allows, no matter how fast you click or the macro does.
that’s why the grimtech is an exploit. The game allows you to fire at that rate.

Nobody said PC players don’t have an advantage over console players, they do! That’s not the point, balanced games come more often with you have PC players on the FT side. PS players by far are more casual and don’t know mechanics, can’t shoot (shit aim assist) and so on.
You will improve far more by fighting against PC players on both sides.
For the first 4 months this game came out I played exclusively on PC with a controller (without any kind of aim assist)… is hard, but not impossible. We also have a few players who still play with controllers on PC. It is definitely harder than using a mouse but man, a lot of console players can’t aim for shit. Hell a lot of Pc players can’t aim for shit, even using a mouse.

You’re getting xp just for not being booted for afk and completing the match.
Semantics, macros are scripts and you are feeding the game inputs that you aren’t actually making. Likewise if a guy loads into my game with his control sticks rubberbanded walking into a wall he is also cheating, even though he’s not botting. Because the game is designed with the intention that you push buttons, not load up your DBD struggle macro once you get hooked, or net macro when you get netted - that’s ridiculous.
All automation. All manipulation of player inputs. Pretty simple.
