ft need to do the quest for win (or get the body ) the explosion make them lose their quest (you know its secret mission )
the legitamite reason we want people to actually defuse the bomb is the game does not consider the bomb going off a win for the fireteam we know this from the Daily so therefore in illfonic’s data collectoin every bomb that goes off successfully is a draw OR at worst illfonic’s data could consider it a win for the predator
so some player feel that is not correct if the predator was killed in most cases the team could defuse the bomb as it’s not hard and it’s an easy win 90% of the time a bomb that goes off is just cuase the FT was lazy not cause they couldn’t do it
which for illfonic data collection is bad

Zuess should at the very least come on line and say that the mission has changed when the predator attacks
FT mission is explicitly stated
Nowhere do I find some secret mission

My question, if you’re max level and playing a portion of the game isn’t seen as “important”, why even bother playing the entire game at all?

Are you actually trying to explain to me that how I enjoy the game is wrong and you’re version is better for me? Thx but I think I will play the game how I like it, no offense. The predator CAN tag me with its explosion, if he can that is.

Eh? ITS A GAME, its something I do in my free time that I’ve PAID FOR! I could not give a damn what the rules say. Also the rules say that if I run out of the blast range, I DON"T BLOW UP! So I do that, what’s the problem?
The analogies here keep going worse by the post. If someone else wants to disarm the bomb he can be my guess, I am NOT stopping him from doing it but people coming up and telling me I am not enjoying the game as they think I should is nonsense. I don’t care that by the rules its a draw, I really don’t.

You don’t lose even by the rules bub, you get a draw. 80% of games I do almost all the hard work anyway.
At no point have I said that killing the pred is something the game considers a win, no idea where you got that one from. I just don’t care that the game does not considers that a win, its meaningless to me. I hate puzzles, I have TIMED puzzles even more and I hate blowing up if I screw up and wasting 1 more minute killing brainless AI its just as bad… On the other hand I love killing the predator and watching him go boom.
Also the child part… Nah man, I am old enough to not care for people who try to explain to me how I should enjoy my free time. On the other hand I have no problem with people who want to disarm, go right ahead, nock yourself out.
yep lets make your team lose because you cant waste 30 seconds for defusing (this game dont have “tie” it has double lose go check it)
Bigger by about 50% but put a damage dropoff on it, so if you have full health, you’ll survive, but at low health you’ll need to get almost completely out of the blast radius to survive.

Facepalm. For the last time, ITS A DRAW! I am also not making them do anything. If they want to, they can be my guess and defuse it. Thing is in the vast majority of times I see them run away just as well. Its like I should there and risk myself disarming the damn thing after I just carried the game just as well. Neah…
