The paid DLC seems to be where most development studios are going. While micro-transactions are incredibly annoying, this allows the studio to continue paying their employees for the work they do. Also, Arnie did his work well before the trial weekend, you know he didn’t do that shit for free, they are going to make that money up somewhere. It was also planned well before all the bugs that have been identified. Surely Illfonic will get the bugs fixed over time. If they dont, then players should walk away to prove the point about their unfinished game. Sony is the publisher of the game, they are invested in this to see a finished product, don’t give up yet.

Not this Alpha stage mess where people spend literal HOURS in ques… before they find a game, even as FT. With only 3 maps (which is nearly unheard of), under the promise of “Oh dont worry. free content is gonna come in the first month”.
And then that turns out to be something i could of made in 30 mins with a voice changer in my bedroom.
Audio logs is NOT content… Its barely extras.

I agree, two free audio logs is bullshit, hopefully there is more than that. They need to fix bugs, I have hope since the game has been out three weeks, they are diligently working on a fix. If a majority of bugs aren’t fixed before or during DLC launch people should leave to prove the point of fix your game.
See, people got me a little wrong here, I dont want people to leave to prove a point, that never works because it backfires and the game is already dead by that point.
I want the devs to wake the fuck up and do something before this sinks. Even if they said tomorrow something along the lines of they acknowledge the issues, and are working on them. That’d be enough, then i could justify it.
But dont fool yourself, the audio logs are ALL we’re getting for free, they’ve already said. In fact thats the only thing they’ve said. Because Selling Dutch and his custom gun means more right now to Sony than anything else.
Thats the issue. If devs were able to see that they;'d make more money long run by launching decent products, than half assed things pulling at our fan-based heart strings, knowing we’d defend it no matter how lacking…
Then maybe we’d finally get a decent game.
Like i said I defended the state of this because of the “free content this month”, expecting i dunno… not even new weapons or anything, but maybe a couple more skins to earn? Maybe a new map? But no… some pathetic audio logs.
its a fucking joke, and anyone defending it at this point needs to look at EA, and how they work, and if you cant see the similarities here, well your gaming life is gonna be full of disappointments.

Yeah they don’t care just like they didn’t care about Friday the 13th, this company is useless , basically scamming people they have no intention of fixing anything ,this game has been out for weeks it’s still broken , and I’m in australia , had it since launch and not got to play as predator once , 25+ minute wait times.for a single game as predator and usually 15 mins for fireteam

A lot of people are fkn cry-hard snot nosed kids who feel like $40 entitles them to a lifetime supply of happyness and a Illfonic intern servant to pat them on the back and tell them everything is going to be okay 1000 times every day on the forums. I only have 50 hours in this game and i honestly am fine if I never play it again. $40 is nothing for a fun game for a week.

I’ve had cups of water in my room longer than you have played this game, and still drank them before taking my cup into my kitchen. You can wait a tiny bit longer for a reply.
They posted the Dutch DLC in the forum Announcements BEFORE the EW release of the content. If you didn’t see it before hand that isn’t their fault. Their client is run through Epic they probably don’t get to have all their news on the front page every time they do something.
I still haven’t listened to the tapes, I haven’t had time to play the game since the update. Maybe the tapes are a clue as to more and better content later? Regardless what do you want them to do? Here is a new game out for three weeks. HERE ARE NEW MAPS AND GUNS AND CLASSES. That isn’t how any company does DLC free or paid for.

I challenge you to get a FT together, a full group of 4 and play together for a day. Go to GiantChiprel’s twitch stream and ask him to do private matches. You can destroy ppl all day in quick play, he will still 8 out of 10 times destroy you like you haven’t every played before.

The paid DLC was in the works before the game was released. As other people have said, the voice acting had been done months in advance. This is probably the first few steps they pitched to sony and they are probably required to keep this time frame.
The game will probably still sink, but there will always be a few die hard fans that will push through the bugs and the nonsense and in a few months or maybe even a year there will be a reasonable game out that people might want to play. Also i already said that Illfonic posted the Dutch DLC before EW published the article. They did this in the Announcements section of the forum.
I partially agree with you on this part i’m not sure because i don’t have friends that play on PS4.
I hope that we can all understand that i’m not trying to turn a blind eye to Illfonic, i’m simply 1000x more patient than 99% of this forum.

We;ve destroyed every pred… in premades, on every map. Its not even a challenge, and no he couldn’t… lol. But if he wants to take me up on that, then go ahead and make the arrangements. We’re on a 63 win streak over 3 days now. Its literally like the game is to collect purple gems, and squat the annoying fly that bugs us while doing it.
