By the way guys, something came up my mind seconds ago…:

Maybe, not just the long range shooting has to be nerfed, but the long range spotting as well? The cloaking should be better, when the predator is far away - where in reality my impression is, that the cloaking works best, when he is hopping right in front of your eyes - just some meters away (due to blurring, I guess).

It should not be possible, to see a cloaked predator from several hundred meters just by eyes (not through spyglass)? Right?

In the end: you cannot shoot what you do not see…

I am only addressing that one point. To determine how well 3 people do, take someone like Yuppers, get him to play 10 games against that 3 man team and see how often he wins.

As for the advantages of PC players have it should be obvious, no testing needed. The simple difference in frame rate, from 30 to 90 and gives PC players a nice advantage…

He aleeady lost to 3 people , you can see in RantorRave Rave stream on twitch, some days after patch. It was one american and two australaians if I dont remember wrong.

The advantages are clear, but the belonging impacts are not so clear - at least, if you hear all people from this forum.

So, let’s try to simplify this: is this whole “nerfing of at least the long range damage for ft is necessary” just a PC topic???

Ps4 vs ps4 is a bit better but STILL IN FAVOR OF FIRETEAM. Thats why they made tournament with a lot of restrictions.

Its about how often you lose, anyone can make a mistake and with the TTK in this game is over really fast hen that happens.

I think things should be balanced around how many people are in a premade. from 3 upwards the pred should get some type of stats boost. I think this would solve the issues e currently have.

What is TTK?

Believe me, if three Bonator-like players join up in a premade team, there is no problem for a good predator at all…

I think, you have to find the root of the problem and hope, that correcting this, does not have a totally different effect on different hardwares and for different player skills.

Does the problem just occur, when sniper rifles are engaged?

We were playing with only one sniper and he wasnt a sniper main. Plus I did most damage in any games. I think some of the changes they made last patch should be reverted back like spear throw body shot damage, tick skin and bane perks.

Do we have access to your video of this game already? To be able to better understand, how you did that (by the way, which weapons were involved?).

From the video of Skoo, one gets the impression, that ALL is about long range - but that might be misleading…

Thanks, but this is Prozi playing, right? If you were the one with said mega-damage, we should focus on that, right?

And how do you nerf snipers? They are pretty good on PC but on PS? Those are pretty bad. The issues predators have (if you ask me) is when faced with a well coordinated team of premade people on coms. That is why I said balance around how many people are in a premade.

You nerf snipers e.g. by:

  • not being able to spot the predators far away so easily (a cloaking, which gets better with distance)
  • introducing means alike trembling (which gets better with slow resp. no motion), as I mentioned above

Both would not have a significant impact for PS4s - as they already are not able to sniper so fast and precise on long distances, right?

Maybe. But the update will be here tomorrow, so that might change things a bit.

Maybe if everybody used qr-4 and pdw-z, it could highlight something.
