I’m not sure. 3 can be really difficult, but 2 people doesn’t sound like they could simultaneously hunt the predator and run the mission. As fireteam, I’ve done it with stealth builds, but we avoided the predator all the way to exfil.

Summary and Sequel
Sorry dudes, I was quite busy some days, I’m back now…
Let me summarize the results of the survey above:
as I understand them.

The Team Arrow want to stop the challenge, so the 3-PC-FireTeam branch of our challenge is hereby ended.

Most others want to continue - but mainly for fun or for fairness (rematch for those predators who are unhappy with their performance of the first round and want a rematch) - so be it. No amendments are done. The second round will be played with the very same rules as the first - but just with the 3-PS4-FT of Dovahkiin as fire team.

A few days have passed and another patch is out. My impression is, that said patch has brought back enough stability to start the next round and I did not read comments stating otherwise - so, it’s time to proceed…
If I got anything wrong, please give me a hint.
So the next step is, that @DovahkiinJr proposes the next time slot - Dovah, could you please be so kind to do so? :)

i mean honestly i’d actually say with the new patch we should just wait till the next one since (hopefully) it will probably have pred specilizations as i imagine those pred players are actually gonna do worse since now we got specs for FT which allows them to rez people in single second have stacking dmg reductions that can get up to 40% and stacking dmg bonus’s that can get up to 60%? i think and fast enough movespeed to outrun hunters in water
like if the preds wanna do it fine but it’s probably gonna be a fucking shitshow
at the same time i’m down to do it as a predator player cause i think i’m at my prime right now i’ve got 3 premade W’s under my belt and i’m confident as fuck rn

Let me explain to you. How voice chat is implemented in this game is complete crap. It should never work the way it does. What if I am with my brother or whatever else in the same room playing the game, if we talk to one another its cheating? Really? The devs behind this games are really bad at what they did. Discord or any other type of chat is not cheating or even worth talking about. There are games that support no type of chat and yet you can use this things? What if I phone my friends as we are playing, cheating? Its nonsense. Its just another show how Illfonic are incompetent giving people who premade advantages over randoms. They can’t think thinks trough before implementing them and its not just the voice chat. The numerous balance changes in this game are like 1 step forward, 2 steps back and this is especially obvious when we’re dealing with randoms vs premades.
Having friends should not qualify as cheating.

i mean i’m gonna be honest with you i totally agree i get why predator voice chat is proximity as it should be but like FT should have radios? right? there fucking elite military and they don’t have like a bluetooth phone? or a radio? so like they should be able to talk to each other regardless of distance
and i’d also agree pred should be able to hear them if he is close enough with of course enhanced audio when in thermal vision cause the game says it does

Thing is I have no problem with game mechanics. Like the reinforcements radio. It makes no sense why you need to use it, you’re in constant communications with home base, the guy is constantly feeding you information trough the radio and reacts to things you do in game. Why you need that radio to ask for reinforcements? No idea…
On the voice chat. Just about everyone playing with friends its going to use external communications, I’ve never used in game voice chat when playing with friends. This should’ve been taken into consideration. This is how people game! Predator should hear you jumping, shooting, sprinting, things like that. Voice chat should be team and all with different buttons (so you can talk back and forward with the pred). You can’t stop people from using external communications. Its impossible.

I really maybe want to try my luck. Though I mostly know that I either will die trying or maybe get one and then die, but I wouldn’t mind.
- I’m on Pc, but I play with a controller and all my settings are on high.
- My Timezone is CET/CEST.
- I must warn you since I sometimes happen to get an extremely high ping, up to 600 or 900 I need to wait until it goes down again for my Pred to be effectively able to move.
- I can record my videos.
Question to @Arrow_calis private matches are working again without resetting the loadout?

That is like going car racing with a tractor instead of a SSC Tuatara because you like the feeling of the tractor more :)
I am sure you’re used to playing with controllers, my advice is go with the Tuatara until you’re comfortable using it since you performance is going to increase by quite a good degree.
