I left it nailed to the wall, just like you.

Now I may be a silly colonist, but a meter is about 3 'merican feet I reckon? So a few of those fancy meters would be 9 to 12 (or more) feet. When I freed myself, I turned about and my nose was still within Eskimo kissing distance of the wall.
So unless my FT skin is one heck of a liar, with a 10 foot nose, the numbers just do not add up. Imperial or metric.
Edit: my FOV is set to 90 degrees if that matters, though I doubt it would.
Same for me, but that only applies in FT, in RS6 I use that same FOV
Ok guys from the Predators perseptive theres no animation at all. It teleports him off the wall. And Iām still waiting to see and video proving otherwise.
Did my FT play you earlier? Name looks familiar.
Also you sure the guy didnt just glitch through the wall? (seen preds fall through ceilings and stuff and all sorts of crazy shit).
So the Predator actually drops in a good 14-ish seconds before the FT, and the match timer does not even start counting down until the FT drops. I presume that is when it starts, I have never recorded a FT match but I just confirmed it for Predator.
The FT usually starts directly across the map from the Predator, so most of the time the Predator can get to the middle of the map within that time, if not further.
So in a worst case scenario, with a proactive Predator, they could be only a few leaps away from the FT when they drop.
Edit: I took advantage of our activity below to check the FT match start time, and I had control of the FT member for about 3-4 seconds before the timer started counting down from 15:00. This means the Predator has about a 10 second head start on the FT at the beginning of the match. Barring any terrain glitches, a proactive Predator can move a surprising distance in that amount of time.

Seeing if HiveWars has time, if not does anyone else? I can record as Predator if needed. EGS: Draedark, thanks!
So the two of you going to upload that video from the Predators perseptive or am I? Because were all interested in seeing this animation/mechanic.
Iām usually on the FT in about 25 seconds from start, and no I donāt use the target isolationā¦
okay invite
Seeing as how the queues are all borqed for me tonight, may as well do this and have another Coffee and Rum ^^.
We are working on video now.
Draedark will bring you a couple of clips right away from both perspectives.
Thanks a lot for making it, man.
So when we first recorded from the FT perspective, we realized that the FT was effectively ātrappedā between a wall and some stairs. This would have most likely prevented any popping effect. So when we did the video from the Predatorās perspective, we tried a few other places. We still could not get the popping to happen, but here are some interesting things we did notice.
-
There is an animation that the Predator sees. The FT throws their arms wide and puffs out their chest when they break free.
-
There is a quick animation that the FT sees of their arms being thrown wide when they free themself.
-
You can be stuck to the wall, but the extra visual of the net sticking to the wall can be missing, so to the Predator it sometimes appears as if the FT is just standing next to the wall.
-
Pinning the FT to the wall does raise them up off of grade a few inches, and they drop back down to grade when freed. Super cool little detail in my opinion.

OBS records audio the whole time, not just when I press āpush to talkā in game, so sorry for the sniffles and extra audio ^^.
The video is in the order of Predator perspective first, and FT perspective second. Video still uploading, I will edit the link if it changes. Thanks!
that is a bug the net-gun in the wall then they appear behind you. If you are on ps4 the pc player will snipe you if he thinks your bad.
Did you consider it may of been the exact patch of wall that the OP stuck someone to? Rather than a random any wall?
So we showed you ours, now you show us yours :-).
Please post video of the FT āpoppingā a few meters off the wall when freed. Maybe the game is even buggier than we first thought!
We did the first tests in the original location where HiveWars saw it happen, which was where the FT was between the wall and the stairs in the second part of the video.
Got a timestamp?
