If you want to get specific, Black Superman is just one of many alternate universes of the original Superman in the comics, so yeah there will be many different types of Superman in each different universe and one who happens to be black isn’t a surprise if we are talking about DC’s multiverse. I mean we got one who is a communist for cripes sake, when his role is one that represents freedom, justice and the American Way, and you didn’t hear anyone getting offended to the same height as Black Little Mermaid, so again, it doesn’t fuckin matter in this case. Hey man, it’s opinion if you didn’t like the film. I enjoyed it and I don’t even see Marvel films besides from the first Avengers and No Way Home.
People shat on Prey for being a hyper man hating feminist film and it was just simply a great sci-fi historical fiction action film with a “Space Goliath” vs “Native Diana” theme. Again, it just seem like sour opinions rather then solid points so unless I see some actual concrete facts of how the film failed at audience opinion and the box office, just say don’t like the film and leave it at that. I really don’t care if you don’t like Prey or not, it just simply proves that you don’t need name brand talent to make the film great.

No Static Shock movie. No Cyborg solo movie (They’ll fucking bend over backwards for that fuckboi Flash movie though), no Steel movie, the list goes on. They do nothing with any of their actual iconic black characters who spent decades building up their own legacies. If marvel can take a D-rate comic with a talking raccoon and a tree and integrate it into their main universe then DC can adapt their underrated characters people have been asking for forever.
