No PC Players do not cheat

yes that is true how ever doesnt change what modding is.

@JelouGaming

I neither have any interest in doing a hack (anymore:), nor do I have the time for such things at the moment. I am also not willing to disclose such knowledge as I do not want to encourage anybody to do this.

But if you want to see an example how easy powerful digital image processing nowadays is, post a picture of your choosing and I will make a simple edge detection out of this and post this - together with the belonging code.

Not today, not tomorrow, but I think at the weekend I should be able to find some spare time for this.

Digital image processing is very powerful and has been powerful for decades now. However, to do it in real time is nearly impossible. Not to mention you have to draw back to the screen. You clearly know a thing or two, but so do I. Digital image processing, such as those from hyperspectral satellite imaging, take time and resources and is not done in real time.

If done on a game, you would need to allocate so much computing power to do it fast, that it would hinder the game performance (on an already poorly performing game).

Simply put, that is not the correct way to do it. Every hack out there does it one way, because it works. What you propose, while less complicated, simply won’t work and it wouldn’t even create a wallhack as the object would actually have to be visible. Wallhacks work by extracting polygon data from the GPU before is generated. A character behind a wall is still there and rendered by the GPU. That’s why that method works. Your proposed method of edge drawing, while maybe doable, would simply be useless.

What I propose can easily be done in real time.

I do not propose a wall hack or alike, but simply a

For such a thing, you do not need 30 FPS or alike - you just need a result every some -let’s say- 250ms. If you get the position of the predator pointed out 4 times a second, that will be enough:)

Have a look at the performance of OpenCV. OpenCV, by the way, is OpenCL based - very nice, if you have a powerful GPU.

Once I even saw a real time edge detection on a mobile phone (you could watch the environment through the cam through a real time edge detection filter - quite fun) - just a fun application of a friend - the mobile phone performance is far from what a PC-GPU-CPU-System can do.

If you know something about STATE OF THE ART digital image processing, you should know…

PS: I naturally will add the real run time measurement of said proposed example algorithm - per image…

No, I did not, that is just a method from the big toolbox of digital image processing, which I am willing to show here - just as an example.

@JelouGaming

It just came to my mind, that I even might not have to do it for myself - as nowadays we also have youtube :)

Watch some nice real time edge detection here (by the way, showing some half a dozen in parallel too:):

Accepted?

No. Not accepted. what part of “edge detection cannot draw edges on an object not visible” you don’t get?

wallhacks work by drawing a halo or color over an object that is being blocked by a wall (hence WALLhack). You cannot do edge detection on an object that is not visible.

No idea what you’re trying to propose here. Edge drawing isn’t going to help you with anything you can’t see. Probably less relevant than a macro or adjusting your nvidia filters.

This game only trusts the client for directional inputs and hit detection. Everything else is managed by the server. Think like an MMO or MOBA.

Wallhacks were big until people added code to scenegraph/culling systems to specifically not draw other players/useful entities if they’re behind walls. IE League of Legends had a maphack available early on in its creation while the workaround still existed. No such thing now because the client is no longer entrusted with this information and has no way of retrieving it because its rendered by the server. If you look into it any “unhackable” game is 99% server-sided, they’d need an actual leaker to be compromised at that point.

This is ultimately the direction of games, serverside only. Only shooters struggle with it because lag becomes a huge issue, to a point where they’d rather rely on resource-intensive and very invasive anti-cheat which either isnt reliable or is complete overkill or both. The biggest threat to this game is ping manipulation because the lag compensation in this game doesn’t even try to be remotely fair

tried the command line parameters it I really couldnt see much difference frams still drop to 40 something fps sometimes. Also on excavation playing as FT on cinematic is ok until i look into the sunlight. When i do fps drops to 10s like 17 or so fps. :( I play other games just fine Squad, Rising storm vietnam, and Assassins creed origins to name a few.

Watching at the sun kills everyone’s fps in that map. Literally was unplayable untill i changed Post processing settings from Cinematic to medium. Drops are gone and no visual difference.

Jelou,

you wrote:

and you LOL ed about a “universal hack using screen pixels”:

My previous posts and in particular the video posted here:

does not contain any specific game programming knowledge, but it does contain a nice demonstration, what you indeed could do with the screen of (nearly) any game. That’s it.

The intermediate argument you also posted:

Has also been refuted - the aforementioned video shows, that this is not true as well. What is shown there obviously is running in real time quite well.

Now, you come with:

I (just) stated that

it is possible to program a “universal” moving PATTERN (and a prestage you already can see in said video) recognition.

A PATTERN is not INVISIBLE. I never stated, that one could do everything one could wish with such a hack. I clearly stated, that I do not address wallhacks

or alike as well.

But a HACK said moving pattern recognition would be, a somehow universal one too - programmable without the least game programming specific knowledge.

And I even would find a hack, which is able to point out the location of a MOVING, cloaked predator in e.g. mid range by e.g. a red circle - quite useful. Said MOVING predator is not INVISIBLE, so he basically can be detected by a universal moving pattern detection.

That’s it.

Now you can tell me, your FPS then drops and you do not need such a hack or alike - maybe, but this obviously was not part of the initial statements. Neither yours nor mines.

My impression up to now is, that you just do not want to accept good arguments. Ok.

Then corona is a fiction of the establishment as well and the climate change does not happen too. Fine.

Better I leave this thread then, bye.

Everything has been said here:

you wanna call a hack something that nvidia cards can do on its own (i wonder how could nvidia allow something that could be used as a hack…mmm…)… sure my dude… call it a hack.

Looks to me you are the one who doesn’t want to admit that your ideas for an imaginary hack are simply unrealistic, as we have made good arguments against usefulness of your proposed idea

but sure, go ahead. do a pattern recognition that guesses where a human controlled visible object will move… sure buddy

Bro, now I see why some people call others hackers or cheaters. I sniped @Sharpy_47b 3 times earlier when he was inside a building. He thought I was shooting through the wall, but I could see his legs

They just have a big advantage low graphics and a mouse, honestly the optimization is so bad just give PS4 low graphics.

Agreed they should give ps4 low graphic too cause the game, unless you have RTX, run with the same frames of ps4 with all medium settings. I suggested to remove as many leaves and deatils as possible from the ground to increase the Frame rate. We dont care about a little less detailed game when we can gain 30 more fps.

Does anyone have a list of all valid command line arguments?

Pc have the better advantage because their systems can handle what the game throws at it.
Consistent framerates. better controls.
vs
A great number of players who purchased the base PS model and hate it because its not made for the hardware, and the console wasn’t meant for FPShooters. But rather than purchase a new model, they will just hate PC on players with your everyday ignorant gamer memes (Hackers, cheaters, what have you that they can make up). That is all. Think of it as a bunch of kids still riding 2 speed bikes where the big PC players have their 24gear speedsters.

If I were them, i would have upgraded long time ago. End of story. Mic drop.
