PC/Crossplay/PS

Please also note that no PC player came here asking console players to play on PC to “show their skill”, but the opposite.

So if you are a good pc player , come on playstation and play with playstation players

Most top PC players on this game even refuse to play with crossplay on, so I have no idea where this whole argument even comes from:

Stop asking ps players to “turn on your crossplay and fight with us if you are a good player”

The only ones who came here thinking they have some sort of superiority were console players… but god forbid a pc player says a console hardware is inferior to a gaming pc…

If we are talking hardware a custom built PC is better than a base PS4 no doubt
Not to sure about a PS5 I ain’t to sure what’s in there

So it is

It’s garbage compared to a gaming PC.

An adult response to a childish comment.

Thats why I say gaming PCs not all PC in general.
Of course not all pcs are good for gaming, I fact not all PCs have dedicated graphic cards so they’re useless for gaming unless you’re planning on playing roblox.

And these are not opinions, these are facts bruh. Just like the PS5 is superior to the PS4 that’s a fact.

When does a PC qualify as a gaming PC and not just a PC? And are they all equal in performance?

gaming PC’s generally have 3 things “normal” PC’s don’t have a higher end power supply a higher end graphics card or “GPU” and quite a bit of RAM usually 16Gb or 32 a high end processor isn’t super important as most games don’t even use more than 1 or 2 cores anyway

while a normal pc’s for the most part have cheaper parts so that it for the most part is just used for work (like using windows exel or word or powerpoint) or just for casual internet browsing

there are also high end work pc’s or “Rendering” PC’s that are used to do higher end art projects like photoshop video rendering etc… but those are usually monster machines that very few people own

A gaming PC has hardware that is focused on delivering performance for gaming, its gonna have a powerful enough GPU, sufficient RAM…etc

You’re right about not all PCs being built for gaming.

Thats why I mentioned most PCs don’t come with dedicated graphics so they’re useless for gaming, but good for every day home and work use.

Like for example a computer that a student might buy just for school stuff doesn’t need a dedicated graphics card or powerful processor and 8gb RAM will be more than enough. They’ll be relatively cheap just a few hundred dollars just for basic stuff. For gaming rigs tho you can spend as much as you want depending on the hardware you get and performance you want out of it.

I think that was my point. I can pay $400 for a PlayStation 5 that gives me beautiful games at steady 60 FPS, and, since I value standardization, I also have the peace of mind that everyone else is using the same inputs and graphics settings as myself.

Yea these are gonna have very powerful and the latest CPUs not necessarily a powerful Graphics card.

Well, good to know I suppose

It’s fine
I still enjoy playing the PS5 even if it ain’t the best gaming platform

Probably should’ve waited for the PS5 pro, I might just do that

Dude the Grand Turismo games were the best on PlayStation and it sucks they’re not available for PC.

That use to be the case, but almost all modern games benefit from multicores CPUs

I recently upgraded from a 4C/8T to an 8C/16T CPU and got massive FPS boosts on most games, including PHG

My PlayStation was on its last leg and it’s still a major improvement so I’m very pleased with my purchase
