What is the best Legendary Movie? King of The Monsters.
I do like that this movie utilized alot of the original movies, Godzilla Plot points, like how he is Enraged at the beginning but after the defeat of Mech G he goes back to his Blue Eyed self.
I loved the Fights.
They did the Original Toho Mecha G plot quite well
Didnt like the unanswered Egg from KoTM.
Overall a great movie gonna rewatch it Tonight
Also Kong went Straight Yautja
P.s If anyone was here for a plot other than Three Titians fighting then you came to the wrong movie

That doesnt mean it has to be terrible. No reason to be bayformers level, you know how that ends.
They absolutely butchered mechaG with a mecha ghidorah brain plot and turned hollow earth into a blue energy well thats just vast expanses of emptiness with 3 monsters in it. Could’ve been ANY monster hamfisted at the end to 3rd party & justify a teamup and it would’ve made no difference. Gigan could’ve teleported in from space out of nowhere with how nonsensical the magic blue energy plot was.

So them using the bones of Godzilla for the original is not the same as using a Alien brain that is super smart as a computer to remote pilot it?
Im also not understanding the whole Gigan thing? Are you just angry that the human element and lack of plot made the a better monster movie than any other mainstream monster movie? Im just confused as to what your gripe is?

Also with the Hollow earth we saw like 10 mins of it and about 10 different littler monsters!
Final wars is regarded as one of the worst movies because its nonsensical and too low bar for the average human being. Did you like Pacific Rim 2? Monsterverse still tries to ground themselves to some degree though this movie just teleported people around with an hour of some of the worst most unwatchable human involvement in the entire series when theres 2 fights in the movie the final fight was resolved by someone spilling a drink on the console and completely wasted plot elements I was dying when godzilla drilled a hole into the earth and they just stared at eachother and he climbed out. Wtf was that movie? Were they trying to kill the franchise right here?

So like in Skull Island where Kong just stares at Samuel Jackson instead of just smushing him right there and we could have skipped that pointless 40 mins of them looking for a dead guy right?

Finess didn’t actually mind the human characters, I dont think anyway . They got slated in reviews and I’m not sure why , even 2014 I didn’t think the characters were the worst to be fair

Its horribly campy and most of the monsters are wasted being one shot. Just a dense film trying to teleport as many monsters into the same film as possible to music montages. Quantity does not = quality.
Guy I loved king of the monsters and this was just awful taking the series in an awful direction but hopefully its over now before we become the new bayformers running joke.
