its not badly balanced now, i still win 99% of my pred gams as u say, but its not about winning its about if it was a good game, a good win.

And its not a good win most of the time, its potatoes, and never should they balance the game to give those kind of teams more of a chance!

But thats not the same as blindly holding forward button, never turning around,. having a knife in your hand, and even when the predator is slashing you from behind, never turning around, never shooting, just running blindly to the objective… then as soon as they are downed, blaming their team, quitting before reinforcment! etc etc

Thats the level of shite that should never be included in balance calculation! - but that match will still count towards the back end figures of wins - losses

And if they base balance on those figures then 90% of those figures are wrong!
Then the balance is all wrong!

Honestly you don’t need to solely balance among the best.
Trying to go off their results wont be too accurate because they will always do better then mid tier or low tier players.

So their results while better, wont be exactly accurate.

The balance just needs to start off the base characters themselves.
The main problem weve had for a while now, even before 2.0. Is that ft has 1v1 dps.

So when you multiply the damage by 2, 3 or 4, it becomes broken.
Pred shouldn’t Be so easy to kill.

Second problem, is, if illfonic refuses to lower ft damage, then at least give pred effective ways to engage multiple people at once.

That’s The second main problem.
Preds kit is too 1v1 focused.

I’ve been saying this for months, but ppl think that matches against low tier players count towards balance.

THEY DO count towards the balance, if the devs are looking at win/loss rate… the nthey count towards it and they shouldnt!

and i still say balance towards the best players. as thats what level of play is possible and thats where anyone who plays enough and gets better will eventually arrive at. and the reward of getting betetr and to that level is there.

Im not saying balance to “THE BEST” pro elite squad - but around that kind of level, not exactly… but not mid tier, or average, or “cater du potater” -

The problem then is your going to have results for stuff like. Oh, this is that good, maybe it needs a nerf, just because a few ppl are good with it.
Trust me.

First balance the game itself, then look into that.
It’s not hard to do.
Just gotta look at the numbers.

yep i agree to an extent but i dont really seem to have a problem with any single damage number or weapon or whatever… its just all of it combine as a GREAT fireteam… i dont even mind if they won all the time like they do. its if it was fun to play and to be honest the best fireteams are NOT fun to play against.

they even admit themselves that nearly all their matches are not that great. only the best preds can sometimes stand a chance of winning if random stuff goes wrong for the fireteam etc… i know im not the best predator , probably not even in the top percentiles - but win or lose id like that match to be fun! - fireteam as a whole when a premade squad has too much dps when using METAs etc…

potatoes can use whatever they want because it makes no difference they wiped in under 5mins if i chose to be like that.

I dont know all the answers, just enjoy playing the game and want to continue to do so

Right now things are acceptable except at the top end of skill, pred still needs more or fireteam need less. but not by a lot. not massive changes to any 1 thing.

maybe there could be a vote button that only the fireteam can do, and only when all 4 chose it. that makes the predator just tougher, faster, more damage etc etc.

“HURT ME PLEANTY” option in the lobby, only enabled if all 4 click it, and only available if all 4 FT members are lvl150 etc…

Those that really want that good match can pick that, and if they know the pred is already top 0.1% then they can just not click it!

Problem is tho, before 2.0. You could have fun even if a ft made it to the chopper.
Those who got there back then you could be like, aight, they played good, gg.

i had a guy (female character) go up the rope yesterday while downed…

slashed her up and she said “urgh! im down” but still went up the rope and “escaped” on the end screen…

I have to agree with @Fire, the game is(and needs to be) balanced towards the casual players, not the pros.
Because the Pro players are just a few, and the casuals are the masses.
You need to please the masses if you want to earn money, and not a few exceptional individuals.

Balancing a game by just gradually increasing the damage for either side is the most stupid and lazy idea a developer might have had.

Hey its very noticeable in Clash for the 20 people playing it. PS players are shotgun strafe central.

Not necessarily, I take down PS and PC players alike with a Unleshed Dante loadout. Can nearly one shot a hurt Viking with a direct blast of the Launcher.

It was like, really close tho, he was rushing me, landed a shot at his chest, possibly headshot. He was left with 57 health from his previous unscathed appearence.

Yea I was saying the people strafing around the point with shotties seems to be the go-to ps playstyle (that and spawning with rockets and frags & nuking the point. Not that its great but its there.
