Pre-Purchase Content Unavailable, PC, Epic Store

Still no news and no solutions … it’s a bit sad and unfortunate, hopefully they fix the problem soon or at least say they are working on it

That’s where I’m at as well Hive. If they would at least communicate to us the fact that it was getting handled I’d be less irked by the situation but it has been nearly two weeks since launch. Nothing. Radio silence from either side.

in another thread a player has mentioned that he managed to return the game and buy the deluxe edition and get the pre-purchase.

Not financially in the cards, or I would have. I got the version I got because that’s the version I could afford. It’s disappointing to see things where they’re at.

They also told me to buy re buy but what if it dont unlock the stuff again are you on windows 10 or 7

Did Epic games tell you to make the purchase again? Do you have any captures you can share? In my case I have also returned the deluxe edition to acquire the normal edition and I still do not get access to the content.

So they refunded you and you got it again and you still have no content your supoose to get…they told me to rebuy it send them a receipt and such here is what they said to me …

I understand that you would like to know a bit more about how you will be able to access your content.

Once you purchase the Deluxe Edition of the Predator: Hunting Grounds, you will be able to see the content for this purchase.

Once you have done this and we received the receipt for this purchase, we can look into the Pre-Purchase content so you would be able to see these as well.

Looking at my transaction history it does specify “prepurchase” on the one with the preorder bonuses. I wonder if they can just flag your individual account to purchase that one over the other?

Apparently in the link that I put previously it is seen that another player has been allowed.

Hopefully they respond soon, really if they deliver the content to me like the rest of the players I will be delighted and then it will be shown that it is worth the effort to wait and be there … let’s cross our fingers so that we can all get access. Taking into account that it was not our fault that they announced the deluxe edition 1 day before launch and with no option to upgrade.

Yup. Honestly this wouldn’t have been an issue if EGS allowed users to upgrade or something. Well, and the whole bug with users not being able to preorder/purchase the Deluxe if they owned the Standard version until launch. Really silly. Just makes me care even less about EGS, lol. Wish this was on Steam.

Totally agree, Epic should invest more money in its platform and try to improve it as well and not seek to get customers fast and easy by giving away titles …
But that conversation is part of another long story.
For now the important thing is that little by little the problem is solved and we get the pre-order bonus.

Wholeheartedly agree. Them sweeping UT under the rug to get all hands on Fortnite originally pissed me off, lmao. Then them trying to directly compete with Steam when their platform isn’t even up to snuff.

Agreed! Glad to know there is progress. I just wish it was easier than this and/or it was properly address by EGS/Illfonic. This whole thing has been a mess.
