Iād blame Epic for a lot of the woes to be honest. Theyāre the publisher thatās providing them. IllFonic may be able to grant them server side, but theyāre dealing with a lot right now, so give them time. Threatening to sue anyone is not only ridiculous, but completely uncalled for.
I originally pre-ordered standard. Bought the deluxe as soon as I had the chance. Everything was there before the deluxe. Got the deluxe, got a refund for the standard, and suddenly my bonuses were gone. Why wasnāt it tied to the account itself like literally any other online title. No idea.
I have the receipts and everything. Itās just the most bizarre way of attaching bonuses. Iām sure it will resolve itself soon, just wish it was sooner than later.
Epic support actually told me purchasing the standard edition again may resolve the issue. Which is ridiculous. Not only that, it says I currently own both, so if I even wanted to repurchase it, I canāt. Lmao.

Then you made a refund to buy a deluxe edition.
Did I buy the Deluxe edition before April 24, the gameās release date?
i dont know about him but for me i preordered on the 7th then in the morning 2am i heard about the Deluxe i tryed to refund my order as fast as i could but i feared that i wouldnt have time so i made a new account and bought the deluxe then at 2:40am that day (23rd) just 3 hours shy of a full day befor the game droped so i preordered and im still waiting on my skin.
I have two ideas on this.
The Epic launcher itself detected that you are not eligible for the pre-purchase promotion and does not consider that you made the pre-purchase or the second option, all of us who have purchased deluxe edition are having that problem so it is a problem attached to that same deluxe edition.
I also did the same change standard for deluxe
I update: One week and I have not obtained any type of help or useful information, I still do not have access to the content, my hope has been lost, if someone reads this message I want them to know that I have exhausted all resources and died waiting for help in this desolate and abandoned planet from the hand of god.
I preordered the Standard Edition on 3/9, purchased the Deluxe Edition as soon as I could, believe it was launch day. There was a bug that wouldnāt allow me to upgrade or purchase the Deluxe Edition as well. Stupid Epic Games Store. EVENTUALLY, it allowed me to purchase it, and I did. I believe this was on launch day as I couldnāt do it before, as far as I know anyone that had Standard Edition preordered had this issue. So, naturally, I figured the bonuses were attached to my account not the game itself. Why own two copies of the same game? Refunded the original as I figured it was safe as the bonuses were there, and here we are. š¤·š»āāļø
we have exactly the same problem. The funny thing is that at that point it does not seem to be that way, but when it comes to counting the hours of play, it does not matter if you have played 1h in the standard version and 1h in the deluxe, it tells you 2 hours played in the deluxe edition.
Im going to Drop a youtube video talking about this problem and i would suggest if you have this problem send it to the devs of illfonic on their twiter their emails their face book here,
also send it to people that you know that would be thinking about the game but havent bought it yet just i really wanna get this out there that this is a problem and nothing is being done about it.
hopefully either this will make something happen of it or it gives people more of a history why alot of us will start to leave the game.

HI i preordered the game on on march the 9th standard edition, there was no digital deluxe at that time, then like 2 days before the game came out a digital deluxe edition came out and i wanted that so i asked for refund to get the deluxe edition and i they said yes and they took ages to get that done so i got my refund then i bot the better edition and i got no preorder bonus. so im mad as i wanted to pay more to support them but i have trouble getting this sorted

Share the video above with as many people as you can sent it too illfonic on all there platforms and sights ( i have links in the description of the video ) and flag this post to them as something else and let them know its an issue, so pretty much their not making this a big deal so we have too
they also got back to me saying this is illfonic issue and to get hold of them too
they told me this as well
i watched your video you are 100% correct and I am a steam person and i got epic games just to play this game and now i didināt get the skin and now iām not interested in the game now
just such a depressing thing to have happen for the game for the players and for illfonic.
because of this i will never put my trust in illfonic or epic games ever again
