I still want the film to be about siblings and have a Female Pred come in to decimate the tribe after their Younger brother gets killed by the lead’s brother in the first act. But I doubt that’s what they’ll do.
I hated Machiko and all her comics post the original avp one so much. No Predator fan thinks its cool to see Predator be beaten hand to hand by a female human. Its was insulting to what the creature was suppose to be.
Most beloved character is Dutch. Machiko is just some authors femdom fantasies getting projected over comics.
Harrigan is better than Dutch though. Dutch has always been the most boring Protag in the series, Harrigan, Lex were all way more interesting.

Harrigan being so emotional & a loose cannon is exactly what makes him the better character. Danny Glover’s performance is 10/10 in that movie and he carries incredible emotional weight. You FEEL the anger he has for City, that shit gets personal. Plus he’s got great humour.
Predator 2 is just ultimately the much more tightly written narrative.

Well City got a way cooler death, dude kept fighting even after losing his arm & taking 7 shotgun shells to the gut. Jungle got hit on the head with a log & called it a day.
