I mean is training under a Predator clan add anything to her lethality? Not to mention the Predator she did have beef with was an equal of her size, hence the name Shorty, so it almost balances out.

Pure 1v1? She dies in less than 5 seconds. In a 2 hr movie where several Marines die first and she sees it etc? She has a shot. But only then.
She gets to that point byā¦living with Predators and knowing their ways despite being discriminated against?

Iām not accepting a human beating Predators and Aliens with knifes or bare hands, its shit. I even had problems with cyborgs or syths that did that on the EU. A normal biological human? Female ? Nope.

It more than balances out. These takes are god-fucking-awful. Harrigan sliced off Cityās arm and ripped on his chest in CQC. Dutch in the novels LITERALLY grapples a Predator from behind, chokes them and slices their throat open. Its everywhere, even in Predators Hanzo has a sword dual that ends in a mutual kill with Falconer.

Shes believable for all except her solo newt rescue. She doesnāt know the facility, she hardly had any weapons trading. There are way more trained Marines dying left and right. But, for most if the movie itās about her brain. She was second in command on Nostromo, so that plays in well.
Your perfect boyscout Dutch literally knifes Predators to death in canon. Beating their ass in CQC. He slits oneās throat in Stalking Shadows.

I didnt like that shit on Stalking Shadows, but at least its Dutch + predator juice, so its not that bad.

To add to your point, films always had protags that are always the ābest of the bestā, like John WIck, The Equalizer, Jason Borne, Nobody, ect. The guy who can kill everyone without a scratch even though falling from a 12 story building would have killed them, or after fighting someone after 10 mins would tire any human being out. Not to mention surviving battle wounds that would kill most people but since the protagonist is a protagonist, its ok. I mean I love John Wick but the man should have been killed a few films back, but since its Keeau Reeves, everyone gives him a pass and thats ok cuz its a fun film and everyone loves him.
But give a woman the same treatment, then suddenly everyone wanna bring up how its not realistically possible ahahahaha

Itās a bad story. I know. I own it. And I donāt like it. The writing or the art for that matter. Im happy to let the flintlock pistol just be an extra trophy. Plus, no comic is canon. None of them. Only the (Heaving sighā¦) 4 films solely based on Predator. I canāt find any actual consensus on the AvP films being anything but elseworld stuff. Prometheus and Alien Covenant put that to rest. And those, love em or hate em ARE canon for Alien.

This isnāt a new fucking thing, Predators losing in CQC has been a thing since 1991, the 2nd fucking movie. Literally for 31 years this has been a part of the universeās ruleset. Its not like the autism bullshit they tried in 2018.

I mean by all accounts, a Predator should be killed by an Alien, 9/10 since the damm xeno is such a nightmare to fight in CQC. Acid for blood will melt anything and especially a space hunter that barely has any clothing. But that donāt mean nothing, cuz its fun to see, so why the hell not with everything else long as its executed properly. Like a human doing so but super rare and under extreme circumstances. There is always outliers to everything.
