AVP movies are canon. Lexâs spear is in 2018 and Wolfâs bio mentions the events in Colarado in 2005 in this game which Fox has explitly stated EVERYTHING in said game is canon. AVP is canon and always has been.

Depends on what the Predator is carrying ? Like a naked Predator,? Sure its 9/10 in favor the xeno. Then you have to evaluate the amount of armor the Predator can be wearing. What if he is fully armored ? How about his weapons ? Wristblades ? Combistick ? Glaive ? Maul ? Netgun ? What is he using in the CQC ? Predator are strong enough to handle aliens. Physically. Its not like a human trying to fight it at CQC.
I know right? IF you bring swords or spears into this, even the human has a better chance since stabbing anything with the pointy end will kill anything if you get them in the right spot.
No lie, it was badass that Dutch became such a master Predator Hunter that he managed to sneak up on one and slit its throat, thats fuckin hardcore.

Look, that comic was poorly written. It was a bad story! Idk what else you want me to tell you, other than most old Pred comics are severely flawed. Iâm not a fan of crappy things, therefore, Iâm not a fan of a non-canon comic.
This universe operates on the logic of some people have magic that can sense & fuck with the Predator and Predator blood just being splattered on you as a baby lets you live to be 100+ years old and not look a day over 30. I donât want to hear a single âMuh real world biologyâ argument when Dutch is literally having protein shakes out of an alienâs blood to become a super soldier.

Youâre not wrong for knowing that a lot of Old Pred comics are flawed like Primal or Homeworld (to an extent) but 1718 is literally one of the best. Youâre smoking bull, cheif.

Predator blood, the space goo from the Alien prequels, its plot device. Better than nothing. Just need to have some sort of explanation even if its fictional why the fuck a female human is beating aliens or predator on cqc.
Like Eloise from that comic, same thing, a girl beating aliens up with her hands but hey its a synthetic alien whatever thing, so it explains her strenght, the whole concepts of her is still stupid as fuck to me.
We are talking CQC, so no plasmacaster or netgun in this situation.
But yeah when its armor, most designs have them with more skin exposure than the ones in the first AVP film. I mean someone with the lightness of Wolfâs would have a higher chance of melting due to exposing that much skin. I mean imagine cooking bacon without a shirt on, you will get burns on your chest, that shit always splashes, even if you cover it with a piece of metal armor over your heart area, youâll get burned somewhere else on the chest. Now imagine that with acid blood while cutting up the alien in combat while its flailing around? Yeah, Predator is done.
I mean there is such thing as female native american warriors such as Running Eagle and Pine Leaf (look em up, very interesting history behind these ladies), who killed many warriors upclose and personal. Its possible that Naru can and will reach to their level, only that she really has to work hard for it seeing how its a Predator so it would have to be different tactics of course.

I donât smoke or drink. 1718 is poo. My mind cannot be changed. I own all the old comics and most of the current ones. It makes me sad to this day how poorly handled Pred in comics has been. Novels too, the ones Iâve read anyway. Constant bar lowering, poor art sometimes⌠it was almost like the people they had making the comics werenât fans (imagine that? Kinda like basically every DC and Marvel writer handling a legacy character these days.).
FFS, even Shane Bkack copped to not watching any other Pred films before sharting out The Predator.

At least the first one was smart enough to put it in the Artic where nobody ever goes and the environment itself wants ya dead. Its a pretty good In the Mountains of Madness adaptation TBH. No excuse for Requiem being in Colorado.
She isnât just stronger than Preds. Sheâs able to contend with them.
She slaps that Ryushi Clan Predator in Three World War because he and the others had no idea who Machiko was.
Even in the later issues, she gets pushed around by other Predators who understand her skill level at at point, and I donât see her killing that Queen?
