I fixed it for you…

It can be filled out by anyone? This is not a tool to make the game only fair for Predator players. It’s supposed to make the game fair all around. If you don’t like what most players (Predator main or not) think would make the game more fair, then tough luck. you’re the odd one out.

I was thinking about this also. But we should start at the basic ideas/ changes first to make the base game playable. Then once we get that right we can start thinking about new ideas.

I feel like the whole knife parry thing is pretty stupid. Imagine in real life a tiny human with a steel knife trying to block a massive Predator with sharper than steel wristblades or worse, a weapon way bigger and heavier than a tiny knife.

In real life, maybe you could deflect 1 hit, but its more than likely the Predator’s weapon would go straight through the knife or his strength alone would push over the human.

I’m thinking more like Arnold vs Predator, the Predator was dominate in melee. Not the silly Danny Glover vs Predator…

As far as balance goes. I think the correct counter is to just spread out the correct distance and cover each other. Guns are the answer. Lots of guns. Not a tiny knife.

There are definitely issues with each side, the predator and fire team. But in essence I KNOW the biggest issue with the game is how absurdly fast paced it is.
A fire team can complete all objectives in as little as 4 minutes or even less which gives no allowance to any sort of actual hunting like gameplay. There is no real planning or taking legit methodical actions, there is no stalking and observing before a strike, have to just wing it most of the time. The pace literally will force a predator to rush itself into the jaws of death.
Like what the Hell… I don’t know about you guys but I hardly have fun when a match in a game of this nature lasts no more than 5 minutes.

For instance, if I’m going to hunt a dangerous creature, like a big ass bear or something. I’m not going to rush into it with a knife and hope for the best because I’m afraid the bear will get in a chopper and be gone. Like who Hell hunts like that?
That’s what this game is like. It is not at all befitting of how a skilled Yaujta or even just a normal every day hunter would hunt like. Because odds are, you’re going to die.

I’ve played more as the fire team anyway because it’s just faster to queue up as. And, it’s not tense, scary or difficult at all when you win 95% of the games as a marine with a semi-competent team. Especially when you rush the objectives forcing the predator to make an absurd amount of mistakes because it’s rushed and just melt the pred with concentrated fire because the predator has no real choice but to just take a huge gamble… And we all know how gambling is, you don’t win as much as you lose.
There’s no thrill when playing as the humans. The NPCs are just easy obstacles that you can blast through as if you’re a damn Warframe. You literally don’t need to take cover like ever really against NPCs.

If anything, the game needs to be renamed Human Rushing Grounds. From start to finish, it’s always a huge race with the odds further more always in the fire teams favor.

Each game honestly needs to last like 30 minutes on average provided the fire team or predator isn’t killed off quickly because of foolish choices and actions or just sucking in general.

Also, stealth isn’t really an option in the game either as a predator. Might as well never cloak and save your energy for something else because you’ll get spotted or sniped while cloaked from far as fuck, even when stationary which I swear was supposed to render the predator completely invisible.
It’s sad when you can build a marine character for stealth easier than the predator. I. E. The human recon class with cold blood perk, and the muddy perks.
I’ve clutched my teams many times before by just sitting back perpetually stealthed, overwatching my team, sniping and spotting the invisible predator that I could easily see even when it’s cloaked while being a good distance away from the general area where my team is and reviving my entire team if they all get killed which did not happen much at all because I would constantly be spotting the predator for the rest of my team.

It doesn’t give me much of any thrill. It’s easy to cheese the predator.

You’re right and one of them should be f’ing invisibility lol as they worked on it before release.

Hey guys I haven’t forgotten about making a summary of the results. I’m still seeing some votes roll in. Have 320 people who have completed the survey now.
I might keep this going for a couple more days and then make a summary.

Then I’ll do my best to bring it to the attention of the developers.
Thanks again for all the support.

I really hope they work with the comunity this would be a travesty to just let die

Thanks for your vote. I excluded the scout for now because it’s not so popular. As far as I know Scout is the weakest Predator. Already difficult enough to use other Predator classes. Let’s fix the common, widely used stuff first.

Sorry to hear you feel that way… In my opinion Scout is as good if not better than berzerker because of his agility and i find myself repositioning more often than with the berzerker… I don’t know everyone Has their own preference

Hey we can address our feelings about the scout later on. It’s early days. Many of the balance issues with Predator are general and apply to all Predator classes. Once we see some action on the basic stuff like the speed and stamina of the fireteam and the strength of the main weapons, we can always target other areas. I hope the scout is made just as powerful. But i vsed a Predator scout last night as fireteam and I totally wrecked them. I hope for a day when I fear the Predator. But at the moment I can see them coming a mile away and smash them 90% of games. Other games i get paired with some fireteams that might be on drugs? haha. All good. Let’s make this game more balanced guys.

Very well done Questionnaire! Thank you for putting in the effort. The Questionnaire addressed a lot of balance topics that are being talked about. Will share with friends.
I posted some of my own ideas on the forum and they seemed very inline with your questions. Keep up the good work!

This questionairre isnt valid unless you take each step in verifying each lvl of each weapon/gear/perk vs every weapon/gear/perk combination used on each side of every team member against the predator who is at a certain lvl.

You fools! This is impossible! The effort is futile! but i’m LMFAO!

It’s valid in general terms. I would say most of what this addresses is general stuff that applies to all levels of the game. For example the wristblades don’t do enough damage whether you are a level 1 Predator or a level 100 Predator. The perks don’t do a hell of a lot. To begin with lets fix the overall issues with balance. We can target specific issues with perks being too weak/ powerful later. I would say that your level and unlocks are not nearly as valuable as your skill in this game. You can unlock the most powerful sniper rifle, but if your aim is junk then it wont make any difference. The variance in skill is the hardest thing to account for. But with a large number of people completing the survey you should be able to average the results out across different skill levels.
