They made an announcement on facebook that they are working on balance for the next patch. I hope they take our work here into account. If I am contacted by the developers then I am willing to do what it takes to share the data and summarise it for them.

It will not save the game if the concept is not expanded upon ballance this il play for another month and be too bored to go on ,expand the concept and make this game triple A title with a relavent end game to draw in real fireteams that will commit to this game not that just that need a break from cod and fortnight all the reviews call it spot on and say exactly what this game is missing the cheese at the end of the maze needs to exist for both sides it needs to be an encounter battle where if predator is out matched he can still bug out just like the chopper and gives mire challenging content for fireteam we compete for the prize its all possible with the bones that allready exist but we all would have to sayâŚyes this is what we want.
I dont think this game should be like friday the 13th thats a terrible model with the potential we have here aim higher then questionable success.
There are a billion posts right now stating that its OP. Three strikes from the preds wrist blades and youâre out of the game. Youâre saying different. The issue is that we donât know what level your opponent is at. So we canât rest well thinking that this âcouldâ be lvl 100 predator or a level 1. Without this critical information we are left to assume. THAT is the problem.
I think the discontentment is with âwhetherâ or not we are actually fighting an AI or a real person.
Thatâs the point of having a survey. To collect the opinions of a large number of people on the topic of if X is too powerful, if so in what ways could it be changed. Just by the number of posts on each topic you canât get accurate data on how many people believe what. Thereâs posts with all different opinions, so what?
I was just trying to give an example with the wristblades. I am not trying to start an argument about if they are too strong or not. From the survey it seems people are pretty well divided on the topic of their damage. 204 People say Wristblades donât do enough damage, whereas 157 people say they do enough damage. More interesting is that 292 people say that the Predator should move at the same speed forward (as when not attacking) when attacking with wristblades, whereas 71 people think it should remain as it is.
Thereâs many ways I can argue why the wristblades are weak and not OP, but I donât want to get into that here. Let people vote and represent their opinions and the results will speak for themselves.
If you donât see any value in this questionnaire then stop complaining and leave this thread. We are fine without you. If you want to get into arguments about why X is not OP, go to other posts. Thatâs what theyâre for.
I think that expanding on the basic concept of the game is the last thing the developers should focus on now. Letâs be honest, they are a relatively small team. Itâs not like they are ID or Rockstar. They have limited time and resources.
They have already put alot of work into making what the game is in its current state. They should put their limited time into fixing what is already available so it is enjoyable and playable for everyone. Lets not delude ourselves into thinking that this will ever be a AAA title. Itâs not that kind of game. Itâs the kind of game that delivers a very unique experience for a relatively small base of fans.
If this was a AAA title it would probably be far more generic and wouldnât have the core multiplayer concept that makes it unique. They are able to take bigger risks with design choices because they donât have the constraints and expectations that a AAA title would have.
Many people would disagree that F13 or similar games like DBD are terrible. They are unique multiplayer experiences.
It sounds as if you almost want an entirely different game? I want more Predator games too. But letâs not expect this game to be totally different.
That being said it doesnât mean they canât add content later on. But first they need to fix what they have.

No i think they will run with the mildly entertaining formula they have because its what they know its exactly f13 in that regard.
I think they will pander to the fireteam in an attempt to try and keep them playing and it will work in keeping the f13 fans happy but theyl get bored too.
All competitive players that invest themselves in games allready know to stay away because of the reviews and the ones like me that fell victim because they love pred will walk away salty in the coming days months because this game is void of anything to really play for.
Chasing the coattails of a movie we can watch anytime sorry it aint enough for me, maybe the should give rockstar a call and ask for help cuz it feels like we are waiting for an infant to give this game open heart surgery anyone want to call time of death??
Thats my point they have a rare unique oportunity to use what they have here to make something way bigger, remember modern warfare?
That game started as a single player game and had optional multiplayer online deathmatch it was a side game they had no idea how it would explode.
I think this could be exactly like that.
I appreciate your enthusiasm. I think this game, with some work could be great also.
But the approach you take with improving the game needs to be careful and planned out. The base game as it is needs changes to make it fair. Once that is in place then its up to the developer if they can afford to spend more time on adding content. I see the basic balance such as how much damage this does and how long the round lasts to be the foundation, the base for building a good game. No matter how much new content you add, if the basic balance of the game is off, then it will fall down. You could add a level with a million aliens and a giant Predator warship but no one will give a damn unless the base game is balanced and feels fair.

You did a great job,but iâve seen nothing about Predator sounds and how much they should be hearable.I think that is important.
I have mixed feelings on the game. note that I WANT this game to succeed. period.
I agree the predator should be played with stealth in mind, but ive played too many ft games where the pred was downed within minutes by folks practically using pellet guns* (see parrying comment below).
I agree that the ft objectives are too easily met and theyâll force the predator to rush in.
I agree that parrying shouldnt be that gamechanging (or game breaking); this is not street fighter 3 (look up evo moment 37; I promise youâll be entertained) and should not give a huuuge advantage to the fireteam.
except for the knife, I disagree with nerfing all other weapons of either side; once you get the timing down, it sudenly feels like a 1v1 game and not a 4v1 game. for a game designed to make you stick to your teammates, this nullified that design goal
lastlyâŚlast night was a huge letdown. 3 minutes to find a game?..as ft? 10 minutes in the pred queâŚonly to be brought to an empty lobby? this is currently my biggest gripe.
resident evil resistance is also a 4v1 game with NO crossplay. Yet I get matches MUCH faster. what was capcomâs secret?
I agree with that aside from knife parry adjustments and limiting health on the map maybe boost a cpl of lower pred weapons (hand blaster/club)
And delay reinforcements by atleast another 30seconds minimum i dont think nerfs are needed just expantion on the concept.

First time I tried out Google Forms. Its not bad but it doesnt display the results well I agree.
