This is true, but im not asking for more walls that lead directly on to site. I want walls in the useless rooms so that I can get in the damn building. Cant room clear if you get domed every time you smack a barricade because some roamer is sitting in a random room on the other side of the map from site.
It doesnt help that windows and doorways put attackers at a significant disadvantage as well. Now as an attacker its difficult af to even get in the building reliably.
Not to mention that once you get into the building there are doorways designed in ways to allow extremely cheesy pixel peeks. And because of the 1 shot headshot, good luck fighting those. Thats assuming you dont die instantly to a lucky tap.
So if you dont drone rooms this happens often. If you go alone this happens often.
As an attacker you have a drone that gives some heavy intel on whats on the other side.
The pixel peaks can be droned out at well. If you lose the drone during usage, thats an indicator of bad news inside. Pixel peaks can often go both ways especially if you know theyâre waiting which often if youâre moving youâll get peakerâs advantage. Its gone back and forth in the community of pixel angels vs peakers advantage. Often with the right intel peakerâs advantage wins out just caue you get the quicker shot in.
Iâm not saying itâs perfect either but seigeâs balance heavily above many others.
Having more soft walls puts a disadvantage on defenders who can only cover so much ground, not mention theres only 2 barricades per person. And wall division is bullshit at times like the cellar in chalet. That wine wall, the pink one has two diveded walls, still takes three barricades to cover though. Even if itâs just outside walls to get it that means you can reliably hold down an entrance or pathway because thereâs too many ways in.
Its the idea of hatches pre alpha if you could breach through any floor hole and jump down it was too much favor to attackers. So the made the floor breakable but the hatch the only thing you can jump down and barricadible (thats a word now)
Wall banging someone is so infrequent without the use of a done or spot and black eye cam that Im honestly surprised its an issue for you. Seriously. Without any type of spot, I havenât been hit through a wall in a long time.

This is the time alot of players thought devs were smoking crack cause they let Ela, a three speed (fastest in game speed) have an SMG with a 50 bullet mag, not a drum mag just a reg mag so fast reload, almosy not recoil and medium dmg output and high rate of fire, along with 4 stickey stun/concussion grenades.
Mind you, no recoil, 50 rounds, high RPM in a game where 3-6 bullets kills someone at most and average 4 bullets and an instant 1 shot headshot on any gun.
Were in an age now where develops will rush a product out the door just to appease their owners/shareholders, and just patch the game along the way. Itâs not intolerant for gamers, they just don;t want a half ass Product that clearly still needed Development.

From what I remember, Lawbreakers was pretty balanced for the most part. No stuns, no characters that counter certain other characters, no bullshit weapons. Just skill. God I miss that game. Tons of fun. Too bad it died so quickly.
Unfortunately symmetrical multiplayer games are so evenly matched that it becomes about finding the meta game, that class and weapon combination, that exploitation of mechanics which unintentionally gives an edge over everyone else.
With an assymetric multiplayer you canât balance it the traditional way.
Your putting one predator on the left side of the scales and four fireteam on the right side of the scales and trying to get them both the same weight and you just canât.
I would go as far to say that assymetric multiplayer isnât meant to be balanced and cannot be balanced correctly.
One side is supposed to be powerful (the predator), and the other side is supposed to face up to the challenge or die trying.
Iâve seen so many posts with people whining that the game is unbalanced because they canât 1v1 a predator, because their entire experience with multiplayer games is a symmetrical experience where everyone starts even. Its as if they cannot grasp that when we play fire-âteamâ there are four players who are supposed to work together, as the sum of their parts equals the power of one predator⌠if they work together. Thats the fireteams true metagame, thats what it should be. And if they canât work together to take it down then the objective should be to run, hide and escape.
