In the same vein of “are all these explosives going through the walls fair?” “Did they playtest and honestly somehow miss the fact that the handheld plasma caster can shoot through walls?” “Is FT being able to completely destroy a predator indoors fair?”
“Is plasma caster even useable anymore if splash gets blocked by logs?”

We can debate the philosophy behind the AOE mechanics or lack thereof all day while you give me word salads but the fact of the matter is if you slam one guy in a building, chances are 2 or more people light you up and you die but maybe ps4 is potatoes.

Eh. It’s ok. I can do without it especially if matches were longer and that would actually be really fun but otherwise I am kind of indifferent.

To be honest, memes aside DeadEyeBuddah inspired me to try playing without Target Isolation at the start of a match.
I rather enjoy not using at right off the bat now and usually use it for finding pigs, or if I am in a pinch.
Yes it means adding a few seconds to the amount of time it takes to initially pinpoint the FT, but I find having it available when I may truly need it later in the match more valuable.

That first bit, yeah that is fair. But there are also boars that spawn just a bit further out or wander out too sometimes. So it’s not entirely a guarantee but yeah if you know that and you go towards that there is a chance you catch the Predator eating that way.
The second bit, yeah. I am quite sure they simply didn’t test it. Few companies seem to test shit before they put it out. And if they did and intended it they should fucking tell us outright, which I have not seen here. And I CAN see it being somewhat necessary as well. As I have stated before if they can camp in one spot and do the entire mission there then you may in fact need that slam, since other tools may prove too limited and you have been robbed of your advantage against a standard turtle (being time). Do I agree with that being the entirety of their fix? Hell no. It is lazy and cheap and they could do more and we damn well deserve more since we have been putting up with all this shit on top of appearing to be ignored. I would love more tools in our arsenal to specifically counter turtling and make it more even. I am not against that. I just hate, if this is how they are dealing with it, how lazy and stupid it is and it feels like a slap in the face.
