Taxation is theft. In the US at the end of the day with all the different types of tax the government steals on average a little over a third of your money. And does precisely jack shit with 95% it.
You have to work a third of your life longer essentially as a slave for the government and if you don’t you go to prison and have to work even longer.

I dunno how tax laws are in Brazil
I have lived on my own and at my parents house. I don’t judge anyone on that because you never know where you might be tomorrow. If I lost my job (I did last year) and can’t afford rent, my parents would never let me live under a bridge, and I would never force them to allow me to do that because of my pride. Their happiness is more important.
Also, I know of many older folk who live with their parents because they are old and sick and they are taking care of them.
We don’t know the circumstances one might be in that situation. So is better not to judge.
Maybe you have shitty parents and that’s why you are glad they are out of your life. Good for you
