Basically go for tank builds, more HP, med pack.

Like Assault, OWLF Operative or Dante.

Dante with Thick Skin, OWLF trained, fast reload perks with Hammerhead and medpacks is a tank on roids. Same goes with Dutch 87. Assault is also nice with those perks + can carry an ammo bag or medkit.

In terms of bulid:

Solo “Brainless” DPS:

Class: Assault
Weapons: GOSL-R
PDW
Gear: Health Syringe/Self Revive Syringe/Noisemaker
Perks: Yautja’s Bane/Weapons Handling.

Goal is sorely to cause damage to Pred by stacking Deadly Specialization (10%+ Assault Rifle Damage], Assault’s Bullet Damage Passive Bonus (10%+ Damage with Bullet Weapons) Yautja’s Bane bonus Damage, (10%+ Damage to Predator from all sources.)

GOSL-R is the highest Damage (consistently) across all ranges, and can even go at Pred in long ranges. PDW provides ample protection at close range. You pretty much become a Pred Killing machine while also having some healing options.

Only issue is that you can stand out as a main damage dealer with this and be on the top of the Pred’s shit list. Also Ammo can be an issue, so using this class with a Support on the team is recommended, or using Hammerhead with Prepper. This class can be considered a harasser bulid and not exactly on the same level of Dutches that can 1v1 Preds but it can definitely get uber damage in if accurate.

This is the kind of of build I was looking for, thank you. It’s nice having a lot of hp, but my goal is to trainwreck that Pred health bar. I’m trying your build right now, I hope I have some successes. I’ve noodled with the GOSL-R before and I hated that recoil, but with that perk it should be better. I just need to get better at my hipfire tracking, that’s been my issue so far today.

Noooo, I’m okaayyyyy. I like playing in front of my giant tv on my couch lol.

How did that go? Remind me lol. I died a lot last night so I dunno how good I was in your round

The Scar (or is it an ACR?) is good and all, but if I’m bringing an assault rifle to the party, it’s going to be the Mercenary, Hammerhead or M4. The latter is just for shits and giggles and because it’s fast as fuck.

Also, while Hammerhead definitely benefits from weapons handling, does the Scar really need it? It’s been a while since I’ve thrown that weapon on a load out.

Hipfire tracking? As in shooting from the hip or keeping the Pred in your view? If you mean the latter, I think the PS5 makes it fairly easy to track a Predator? I play with people that have one. They tell me it’s so much easier to spot him and all that jazz. And that it’s easier for them to react. Here I am on a frame-unlocked pro lol.

If you meant the former, I don’t do a lot of that. My look speed is up far too high for it. I am definitely an ADS player almost exclusively.

Well I just ran a decent match against a Scout with the GOSL, did some nice distance damage. I’ll keep playing with it for a bit. Not a fan of its fire rate though, after running Hammerhead for so long.

And I meant like, using the stick to follow the Pred as he moves from a hipfire position, not ADS. Like if he’s running past me to the right, I’m trying to keep my crosshairs on him as I shoot. I have my controller hori/verti settings at 1.55 each, and my ADS at 0.95.

Take the dive, buy Dutch 87. The hip fire damage increase is basically like adding deadly to another class perk.

Play a couple of private matches and see if someone can help you find the sweet spot for your aim. These developers did a horrible job with the look settings.

And yeah, the Hammerhead is the best overall assault rifle. The Mercenary and M4 are fun to use when I get bored of the Hammer. AK has such a slow reload that if you aren’t using quick release, you may as well forget it. The Scar is the best one at range for sure.

One person escaped on the chopper, I got 4k damage on you before dying.

I felt like you were kinda toying with us with the net gun and that may have cost you the match.

Ohhhh, I remember, that was the one match I did with my elder stalker. Yeah, that was a damn good match, you were with a really good team. I had to fight for those kills. I was kinda half toying, half bad aim/hitbox, but yeah I think if I took it more seriously I might have won. But you guys were melting me, it was rough.

I bought 87 last night, so far he seems almost identical to 25. Maybe I’m using the wrong combo of guns/perks?

They really did. I feel I need to tone down the regular hori/verti settings, it seems TOO fast.

Also, something I’ve observed since playing FT…what’s with the constant Hunter classes and not showing up or even hearing from them until like half the match is over? And then they just badly plasma spam? I’ve been getting that from a lot of classes but Hunter especially. New players?

Optimize playstyle. 87s bread and butter is cqc, if you’re good at hipfiring you’ll be unstoppable. Try to let your team do the mission work and act as a guard so when a dumbass pred rushes one, you swoop in and second wind them in seconds.

25 is all around best class though considering the specs, he’s quality in any situation but falls short with optimized builds, which everyone’s got a few of. No reason not to run him if you’re comfortable with it.

Yeah, I had one good teammate with me, one okay teammate and the last one was a complete potato.

You did good, but you should ditch the net gun for the bow or something else instead.

I used to run bow on it, but I switched to net just for memes. My primary is combi, I think I’ll switch that to bow. It’s a stalker and I have downrange, so it makes sense lol. And not bad with one tater. I find myself on Fortnite tato teams way too much, hence why I’m asking for solo build advice.

This is exactly my play style, honestly. I wait for a Pred to come down and melee and I go in on him. 99% of my second winds and downs have come from that. I’m bouncing around the previous assault build and the two Dutches right now, just trying to see what fits most. I do enjoy cqc fights more though

Yeah, it’s super frustrating playing with potatoes. The one good teammate I had for that match was raging on the mic when the potato was hiding instead of going to reinforcements.

I agree with most of the solo builds that other people have suggested here. I usually take the hammerhead on an Assault unleashed.
