Hey, I suppose it can’t please everybody. But for me, I need to see it…didn’t head out to the cinema for it. Still intrigued me the fact that these open up a very good infinite crisis scenario. I like every vision of DC in this sense.
When you open the multiverse up, it makes almost all of them more palatable (not B&R or Forever. Those are inexcusable) despite their flaws. Even my favorites have canonical flaws, but tucked into their own pocjet universe, it works.

I do believe there were some foam rubber additional muscles added to Zachary Levi (and the other adult male heroes), yes. They should’ve gone all in and made a big 'roid-raging bodysuit like Wierd AL in the UHF Rambo sequence.
I dont expect an actor to pack on 50lbs of muscle for a role , I just remember he wasn’t swole but tried to lie and say he was.
Most of hollyweird use steroids to get jacked , but I don’t blame the ones who choose not to.
Well, he got ripped and all, butnhis body type isn’t Shazam. The character is really beefy, really corn fed.

its like it hates being capeshit. Feels like they wanted to make a spiritual sequel to se7en or something and it got stuck being a batman movie.
bruce wayne didnt even want to be bruce wayne, just stalk and beat people up with his angst and inheritance money. Weird take. I guess it fits the new joker? I’d rather patterson just be a edgy cop in an edgy cop thriller.
good atmosphere and sets but thats about it. DKR is best batman movie.
I have to give it another go. I think I may have been unfair, but a second viewing where I can pause as much as I like will do wonders.
1st off it’s Batman Year 2 so of course he isn’t gonna have all the fancy gadgets and fully upgraded Batmobile, 2nd off, honestly his suit and acting will always be better than Clooney then again every Batman is better than Clooney 3rd it’s supposed to bring out his detective side, not the nonstop action shit
Movie is entirely too long for a second viewing when the only interesting fight was in the hall with the muzzle flash.
He didnt detect anything though? everyone else answered the riddles and he hung around looking like a weirdo in a suit missing his antidepressants as the cops weirdo friend who dresses as a bat. Failed 90% of the time until the out of left field master plan at the end with the waist high water and puppies-in-a-barrel-shooting? I guess thats why you cant make a villain that makes too much sense.
The whole movie was uncomfortable with itself.
None of the other movies make batman feel this insanely out of place but he’s just standing there staring dressed like a bat makes it really hard to take seriously because there’s no charisma there at all. Doesn’t help the movie draws a ton of attention to him being a nutcase.
Catwoman and her weird cgi fights and subplot sucked too. It felt like it was forced to be a superhero movie against its will. Probably would’ve been fine as a cop thriller.
I just watched this pile of shit , how can people claim it is the best batman movie? Its bloated crap.
But hey , at least the white privileged “villains” got taken out 🙄.

Bale and Keatons 1st films were him at the beginning too, yet they took the time to craft all their stuff first. No duct tape needed.

Of course it is. It’s a review. Those are always opinion based. Except the last bit about above Keaton and Bale being Not-Duct-Tape-Man. Thats just how it is. Bats Begins shows his 1st ever night as Bats, fully prepared and equipped. Keaton was only Bats for a month, as expressed in the dialogue from the first scene with Alexander Knox questioning Lt. Eckhart. He states there’s been 8 sightings in under a month. Bats is still a mystery to the entire GCPD. And '89 Bats is even better set up to fight crime. He has his Bat-shit together. But like I said, I’m gonna give it another go, so I can pause, rewind etc and really dig in to make certain I wasn’t unfair. And if I find more things to enjoy, I WILL update this thread, praising those things.
Riddler is 4chan confirmed. Should’ve used more gamer words, I thought for sure he was gonna call batman the n word in that interrogation scene.
