This game is painful to watch as I’m playing it! Watch other people stream it? Pffft . I save that for rare occasions, such as when I’m accusing them of cheating

i mean one hit with a caster is pretty damn strong even now caster is considered OP to some then there was the full damage through walls, melee through walls, animation canceling you werent safe in or outside as FT

Eh I mean you did actually have to land the shots and they are pretty easy to avoid considering the big red laser and slow moving bright as the fucking sun blue ball heading towards you.
Man I’ll tell you as a fireteam main myself even right now, plasma caster is not op. It’s annoying as fuck cause it hurts your eyes and is a boring play style to go up against when they spam the trigger/key but when they do it that way it does piss all damage anyway. Charged shot on the other hand is easy to avoid. See laser, hear pred charging it up, take cover! Or blast the fucker because he’ll be standing still while charging it.
Full damage through walls if you mean with the charge slam then I don’t fully agree with. I agree there shouldn’t be damage through walls, but it does help combat campers. But anyway, you know what the solution to that was? Don’t camp in the building! I used to go up against preds doing that and I’d wait for them to slam then run outside and blast their ugly alien ass cause they’ll be stuck in a 2 second animation. Normally made them run away.
Melee through walls though now that I can agree on. But again, after the first hit or two just move away from the wall! It’s stupid but at least there’s a solution to it.
Animation canceling? You mean the crap where they can do their attacks super fast by pulling out different weapons? Yeah that shit is broken no denying that one.

No man I’m not calling you trash I’m calling the average fireteam player trash. I’ve spent most of my time playing this game with randos on fireteam and ohhh boy is it a sight to behold. What I’m saying is even a mediocre pred can probably kill these guys. They’re nothing special but they are the most common fireteam players you’ll see. So you’re gonna get a lot of pred matches against them and it’s gonna be a breeze. And because of that it creates an illusion that the game is balanced. But when you come across a fireteam that isn’t fresh out of the womb. Hah well then it’ll be like you’re playing a completely different game.
But you know what the sad part is? I’ve had matches with teams like that and still won or came very close to winning. And I’ll tell you now no team like that should ever win. And the fact that they even have a chance to win must show how unbalanced this game is.

thats why hiding your laser and dithered helps for people who have trouble hiding it on objects, yeah uncharged is trash on its own fun when mixing it with cqc.
animation cancels on slams were a thing back then so he could cancel out and move before you came out.
oh so animation cancel was on the slam, which would let you move before slam animation finished
i fully agree most random teams are trash and they are 90% of matches for preds thats why i dont want them nerfed. id literally leave again if they nerf FT not that devs or community cares which is fair. yeah and i love those matches vs pre made good teams it maked me actively play and think id have to learn and adapt its great
i lose most those matches but the matchs are more fun than the outcome

Yeah that’s true you can hide your laser. But that’s why you focus on sounds. I hear the predator nearby and I get a rough idea of where he is based off the sound of the caster charging and the clicking he makes. Or I’ll just use the UAV if I’m feeling lazy. The only “hard” part is locating them when they’re charging if if they’re hiding their laser or using dithered lens. But you got the tools to deal with it so it becomes easy after a little while to be honest. Again especially because of the fact that when they’re charging it they’re mostly stationary.
Ah yes I remember the animation cancel for slam now. Yes that was obviously very strong but I don’t think it’s fair to mention these things as they’re not really intended features so we can’t use it for commentary on the balance of the game. That’d be like saying FT is OP cause they can hide under the map lol.

its not really that expensive i mean energy regen dithered and down range is cheap enough for hunter to use, valkerie also has ample perk points, Just sounds like your really good at the game most players barely know where to look ill be standing on them and they’ll be shooting at branches, lmao, and thats without decoys
