Yes, the Starks are always right eventually.

Winter is Coming!

Crimea had a pro-russian gov, Ukraine is (formerly pro-russian) after the CIA installed zelensky via coup after they saw Putin effortlessly annex crimea but everyone just forgot that happened.

He existed specifically for this moment where he could tell every citizen to fight to their last dying breath as their cities are bombed to shit to fight a glorified proxy war because the plant won’t surrender while the CIA now runs around blowing up pipelines all according to plan.

Whole thing is a cuban missile crisis tier game.

everyone’s economy is collapsing anyway, china takes taiwan for all those sweet sweet microchips and the US will be “forced” to nuke a city after china retaliates for some border games. Japan almost got a third nuke and the powers that be knew exactly what they were doing playing aggressor in international waters and freezing assets, pearl harbor wasn’t a random act of violence - just gave us a reason to test the boom boom and end things there.

Ukraine has been trying to free itself from Russia since start of Soviet Union and in centuries past. It’s not pro Russian. The part that’s pro Russian has been groomed by Russia by displacing Ukrainians and putting Russian folk there.

It’s still hard for me to see this as cuban missile crisis. USA does not have any nuke bases in Europe as far as i know. They don’t need proximity towards Russia as all attacks can be launched from military ships or airborne or submarines. I don’t see USA/NATO planning to attack Russia.

Because Ukraine was always russian.
It makes less sense as a country than Israel that was just outright installed in hostile territory.

It would be like canadian taking up a scorched earth policy vs the US. Forced as fuck.

If we didn’t care about proximics we wouldn’t have military bases all over the world. Travel time is a thing. For missiles, equipment, anti-air, radar, bodies, and intel. Nukes or otherwise.

It wasnt. Three wre unions formed, but like with all other counties, russia was in control. It wasn’t a voluntary union. Russia put up puppet govs in other countries and rules as a dictator. Ukraine is its own country, even though it has not been free for very much of it’s history.

I get that, but why have a base in Ukraine. They will not attack Russia anyway. It seems pointless to me except for an ego thing. Ego of USA gets boost, ego of Russia diminishes.

Also why China is getting all these “ports” all over the world and making man made islands.

All of these tiny countries are just puppet govs of bigger ones. Just because another country installs their puppet gov doesnt justify fighting to the last man and watching all your infrastructure burn for global scale economic games which is all this is. It fucking sucks as a civilian just so one country can have their anti air closer than another countries anti air. There has to be some massive sweeping ideological difference to draft citizens.

Assets and destabilization.

It does, cause all those counties have history and identity. Just look at how many counties fought for freedom throughout history. Are you saying it was all pointless?

I can see a possibility of destabilization. Funny how Russia uses this tactic themselves, but when it’s a possibility against them they make a fuss about it.

Maybe cause they don’t control the oceans as well as USA does and the y want to compete somehow. They are kinda new to military tactics so maybe they are starting off slow.

The point of the bases is for logistics and strategy.
For example:
Currently the US has bases all across the China sea. And can cut them off from getting oil from the Middle East.

Bases at key choke points like straits is vital.

When you’re a puppet state being propped up as a tool for a scorched earth proxy war yes.

There’s no winner besides the bank

Like afghanistan was pointless. Unless you were the guy selling the equipment ofc

Good point. What do you think NATO bases in Ukraine will do? Black see will be more limited to Russians, bit they already share it with Turkey, a NATO country though they seem to say both sides. As far as land travel is concerned, Russia still has China and southern routes, plus Ukraine would likely choke them without NATO if needed. (If there was another conflict and Ukraine acted in accordance with UN sanction). Russia seemed closed off as it is, without NATO bases in Ukraine.

I think at some point these rules will change. Russia still seems to think it’s a big player in the world but they just had a reality check. Time to pack it in.

Initially it wasn’t even a NATO alliance that sparked conflict. It was EU membership which pro Russian president betrayed the country over. Maybe NATO membership was attached to that, this i don’t know. I think this is what Putin tied to do. Install a pro-russian president and change Ukraine’s pro western course 180. Then NATO possibility would have been axed from ukrainian constitution.

No coincidences everything’s rigged

I wanna see some of the crazy-ass bullshit you been doin
Just a quick note: They haven’t really been ‘exposed’ if nobody knows what the fuck you’re talkin about. Also, putin’s fucked, no matter if he’s the ‘good’ or ‘bad’ party in the war.

Been thinking up the endgame for war in Ukraine and where it will leave Russia. I think that they will lose a the land gains they made in Ukraine eventually so at the moment, the longer the war lasts the bigger hole they are digging for themselves. After the war, they will have few world alliances, less money in the bank, less weapons and most importantly less men (disabled, killed in action, fled from mobilization or whatever other reason). This means less reproductive power, a strain on social programs, less working power, less brain power. How will they take care of this if their main ‘friends’ will be China and India? Although BRICKS is an anti west alliance, i think it’s also away for those counties to soy on each other. Sensing Russia’s isolation and desperation, will a county like China offer a friendly hand just because? I think there will be a heavy price to pay, like Chinese people and businesses moving into Russia to keep it together. Fearing the west, they will invite China and get taken over from within. This is what Russia needs to worry about at the moment. Thoughts?

I know people got their views on this war, so I’ll state mine as an American who has a mother who grew up in Ukraine during the USSR’s time, she and I absolutely hate Russia for the invasion, she has a brother over in Odesa and he has a family that he gotta worry about every day and pray they don’t get hit by a bomb, Ukraine launders money sure, but you can’t justify the invasion, Putin only claims it as Russian land because he wants more distance between NATO and Moscow, since Moscow is closer to the western border, plus there’s all the resources Ukraine has underneath the land, that’s easy pickings for him, Ukraine’s gotten enough money I agree, but Russia has got to be stopped
