Who needs balance?! (Buff FT nerf Pred!)

I made a video to demonstrate the DPS of the 1011-12, using a controller. I’m going to do all of the weapons eventually, so to give you a preview:

  • Scout duelist with the 1011-12 and Bane had a TTK of 1.7 seconds against Valkyrie.
  • Assault Deadly with the AR-W and Bane had a TTK of 1.95 seconds against Valkyrie

Hah. 😆 This is crazy to me, but what do you do. 🤷‍♂️

Nerf the most op weapons and buff bad weapons. That could be done for both sides, like nerf damage on 1011, sawz, hammerhead and buff shotguns, minigun whatever. Nerf disk and plasma caster, buff plasma pistol, warclub whatever. And yes it has always been crazy how 1 fireteam player can outdamage the pred.

At point blank range, any FT weapon should melt the pred in less than 2 seconds. Because it only takes 3 hits of the sickle or the elder sword to down any FT. And you have a netgun, that even with the macro, will guarantee two hits (plus the 15 damage of the net)

That’s why it should be buffed, so players could have more viable options on the weapons they want to use .

The last time it was ever bugged people complained so they needed it to the ground. I’m amazed they haven’t buffed the hell out of the Minigun or Grenade launcher.

Well they nerfed the Grenade Launcher. That thing used to have Impact Nades. Fucking imagine them on a Dante with Unleashed & Yautja’s Bane. Regular Frags are bad enough, they can reach damages of upwards of 350.

Also, you’re okay with a sidearm out DPSing the highest DPS primary weapon. That’s not balance in any multiplayer game I’ve ever played.

Unironically more broken than the Combat Evolved Magnum.

Exactly, most console players can’t track moving targets to save their lives. It’s easy to empty a mag into a still target.

You both realize this has nothing to do with comparing the close range DPS of a sidearm and assault rifle, right?

Hey man, if the pred is greedy and dumb enough to go full melee charge face to face with a FT he deserves to get melted in 2 seconds, at that moment it becomes who can out dps who.

Whether you agree or not, it doesn’t matter.

I remember it destroying the frame rate when 4 people brought it. I’m all for impact grenades again with its current damage but being that what we have now it bounces everywhere and the projectiles are too slow. There’s literally no use for it even with unleashed.

I have a feeling Devs are hesitant to re-buff Plasma Pistol because of what happened with Pre-Rework Elder, just as much as they are not doing anything to Beserker because of how “oppressive” he was on Launch, even though that was because no one knew what to do and Berserker Players got by with their high health.

As for balance in general, I have a few things.

A little iffy on the Dutch 2025 and 1987 Passive Change, but I can definitely see this happening.

Agree with the Field Medic nerf @SkooLBoY_SkePtiK mentioned.

Samurai should be given 11 Perk Points.

I don’t exactly agree with the Dante Nerf cause I bulid around Unleshed which is a very viable bulid. Assault Unleashed is conflcting.
(Prepper, Thick Skin/Gearhead, Trained)

Grenade Launcher nades need to have a slightly faster time to explode.

Rushdown should get reworked as it is useless if you are not facing A.I

Deadly should be given 5% decrease.

I don’t see Plasma Caster getting a nerf anytime soon. It is a weapon you can render useless by shooting off Pred Mask, which is a gameplay mechanic.

Slightly decrease Plasma Pistol recoil. Moderately increase damage at the cost of having a more timed out reload sequence. Or maybe even have it passively charge up and have a whole charge based Ammo type.

Brute needs to be given more damage punching through parry, or maybe just Immune to Parries.

Warrior is fine (depends on definition of fine), but having something like Increased Melee Attack Rate or even Increased Melee Weapon Damage to really give it that Deadly Assault treatment.

Stalker should be given 5% decrease.

Fervent should be given. 5% decrease.

Give City Hunter a soft Large Pouch Passive (1 Extra Gear, like Gearhead)

Savage (Valkyrie) should be swapped with (Warrior) Alpha

(Tactican) Hunter/Jungle Hunter should be swapped with (Enraged) Berserker

If FT has 4 Specs each, so should Pred. My ideas:

Give Elder Disciplined or Assassin
Give Hunter/Jungle Hunter Enraged or Focused
Give Scout Focused or Enraged
Give Berserker Tactican or Vicious
Give City Hunter Tracker or Enraged
Give Samurai Brute
Give Viking Focused
Give Alpha Savage
