We also determined that it counts how many pellets hit for shotguns one point blank is 238 and when a pellet hits it is 11 damage these are on 87 without impenetrable then with impenetrable a full shotgun is 214 and not sure about the single pellet

Makes me mad we need to do this testing…

And why is that?

Because this perk information +/- X%, should be available to us from within the game.
We shouldn’t need to ‘figure it out’.

They’ve told us we just test it anyway all of it was in patch notes

None of it was in the patch notes.

You go and find me a single damage or % number related to weapons or perks in any patch notes.
I’ll wait.

“increased damage of ABC” means nothing, when you’re not told by HOW MUCH.

They can’t tell us because they don’t know. Example? —> New Dutch passive for +mud damage resist doesn’t work. They don’t test their patches to get the numbers. Some intern is takin the money and running.

It must be the only viable explanation. >_>

Any programmer worth their salt would be working off multiple version branches, and every integer or variable value that is modified would be recorded in a change log.

There’s no way they DONT know this stuff. So I don’t understand why they don’t provide the information. It’s actually really insulting. (at least for me).

To quote, and adjust, Mark Twain:

Don’t try to understand [argue] stupid people, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Literally zero developers release patches this buggy and this undefined. Even SW: battlefront 2, which was LITERALLY worked on by interns, had less bugs. Sure, they didn’t tell you how much an ability reduced healing by, but at least it ACTUALLY worked.

Unfortunately, there are a lot of games that release general patch notes without specific numbers.

I can’t get hung up on numbers but appreciate you guys going through the trouble.

OWLF trained is only 8%? Now that is disappointing… I was expecting 10%.

Thx for the effort in putting this together.

Interesting fact. Dutch 2025 with thick skin and OWLF trained effective equals 199.8hp. That may be part of the reason why they specifically chose 8%.
