Predator specialisations Ideas

These Predator Specialisations should be acceptable to all Predators

  • Tracker- Mark targets faster. Marked targets remain marked for a longer duration and when farther away.

  • Bounty Hunter- Marked targets receive more damage

  • Higher Priority- Receive less damage from AI wile near FireTeam

  • Third Eye- Highlight the direction of nearby speaking prey

  • Glutton- Gain a small amount of extra health from eating wild animals, but movement speed is reduced. Does not stake

  • Berserk- Gain a damage and speed buff from overloading

  • Reflective Sparks- Gain a small defense buff from overloading

Those are some of the things I’ve come up with

Interesting ideas man.
I was going to post about how I thought they might do the Super Pred’s as specializations but I see you included Tracker, I was going to suggest an extra hound. Assuming hounds were gear or a progression system Hunt match modifier.

Hopefully we can get something like this. At this point I’d take any predator buff but I’d prefer not having scraps and get a meaty chunk of buff for predator to balance out everything ft has gotten the past few patches

Most players aren’t even running specializations, so I don’t think they are OP at this point give it a week so we can see where things fall.

I especially love the berserk one like if I’m gonna overcharge or whatever from leaping I’m gonna want something to help go into battle since I just stand there for a second or two taking damage I wanna be able to go in and melee them.

How about a specialization called:
Stay Cool - Prevents the Predator from getting melted so fast.

I thought of one myself

Blood Rage - When the Predators mask is destroyed their instincts take over giving them

Melee damage buff

Resistance to explosions and all firearms

Also Predator still needs a block/parry

I think instead of a block or parry I should just be able to grab the fireteam by their neck and squeeze it until blood spurts from their mouth and I should take no damage from the other ft members while I do this.

Yes. Yes. Good work. I recommend a couple changes.

This will only hurt randoms. Coordinated squads don’t use in game chat. Maybe have it add interacting with mission elements creates sound bubbles.

Eating hogs already gives you most of your health. Maybe it should reduce the time it takes to eat hogs.

No I was thinking Third Eye would effect radar and literally highlight a direction

That would be too powerful in my opinion.

I mainly suggested it to counter the spotter perk

I got you. Like it reacts to automated “call outs.” I still feel like it would be a bit too strong. Also, I feel like tracking, labeling, and highlighting should always be tied to heat signatures.

Sounds should make bubbles, but never leave a lasting trackable effect.

That makes sense. But that might also be a bit too strong. Especially on a melee alpha predator.
