Just don’t do it! No, but seriously ;-), just implement what The Isle and DayZsa already have – leaving match early (dead or alive, dose not matter) simply means your character stays in match till the end of it – just not moving if still alive, obviously. He can be killed by AI or players. Problem solved for every one. @Courier, can you pass this on please? It will save ppl a lot of frustration.

A fireteam player that rage quits should be forced to wear a dunce cap that reads rage quitter and has blurred vision. Also can’t play predator until time is served. A predator that rage quits can’t play predator again until they play fire team member with a dunce cap until time is served. Both effects last for 5 hours. Clock only counts down when in a match. What is the definition of rage quitting

So this seems to be a very touchy subject here. The match has a very specific end screen. You quit before this you are rage quitting, plain and simple.

Predators are now leaving after the first 5 minutes of over aggressive gameplay on their part. (If you rage quit there should be a 5 minute added penalty). So I accept that some would not consider this a bug, but if the FT members rage quit once they are downed then the pred can not claim and gets zero xp for them. I am increasingly seeing this lately. I think it’s a pretty common practice now for like 85% matches of my matches where 2-3 members of the enemy FT will rage quit on me since I decided to make the game short since I exposed their weak efforts to work together and stick together. I mean at this point I might as well just kill the AI for more XP lol. I actually love the dunce cap idea. No better punishment than naming and shaming haha. The blurred vision is probably a step too far though. They’ll most likely just stop playing the game entirely.

I am on PS4 and I’ve never rage quit, but in two different matches I have had my game freeze then crash and get an error code. I personally don’t see a point in rage quitting I want my V and XP. Plus, all rage quitting does is screw my team especially if we have a reinforcement available. It’s also not fair to the predator because they miss out on a lot of XP for the long claims. and unlike FT, their que times are 5-10 minutes. Personally, you die just be a good sport and accept the death so Predator can have his XP. won’t kill you waiting 40 more seconds to finish out the game considering you only have to wait 30 seconds to be in another match.

Hmm, let me see… I’m playing with randoms who have no clue what they’re doing. The Predator is smart, singles me out and I get claimed right in front of their eyes while they stand there pulling out miniguns and knifes. Not a single shot fired while I’m getting my skull pulled out through my asshole.

So fuck those guys. I’ll move onto the next match.

Sometimes you just get a sense for the team, and I can be in a fresh match in under 1 minute. Why should I wait 2mins on the off chance that I maybe get reinforced?

Also, at level 150 with the weekly challenge completed and daily cyallenge completed what are my reasons for sticking around again?

It’s not so much rage quitting, it’s apathy and resignation. Incentivise me to stay, some Predators don’t deserve to claim me twice😈

For me I won’t simply let them have the win. But, depending on if they are PC, premade, rushing objectives, or randoms who seem not to have a clue what they are doing will decide if I kill them all 2 minutes into the match because I don’t want to be put in a bad spot, or I drag out the game.
